Kaala shifted into a fly- rather painfully as she wasn't used with shifting that small. As soon as she hit the forcefield, she felt a sharp shooting pain up her entire arm and flew backwards- landing on the ground in her human form. She winced as she looked at her arm, where a large burn covered it. She got up and walked back into the lab.
`Twas brillig,
and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"
He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought --
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.
And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

Serena jumped back as a bee suddenly appeared, she let out a soft whine. "I guess we can try to get 'friends' with the mental guy." she growled softly.
Matthew sighed. "Oh, well. I'm the dumb guy, so you can't blame me." he muttered. "No, I'm serious, get off."

He leapt at the bee which stung his mussle. He growled and shook his muzzle. "Stupid bee.... Yeah, I'll go and try with the mental guy and I'll bite his hand off if he tries anything," he replied as he walked off towards Derek. He yapped and rolled over in front of him.
Derek
He looked up from his doodles as he saw Danny. "What do you want?" he sighed to the overly-fluffy black wolf. It replied with a yap and Derek rolled his eyes and continued doodling. The yaps were becoming full-throated barks. Out of annoyance he yelled at the shifter and threw his pencil. Annoyedly, he rested his head in his hands as Danny ran after it. Luckily for him, Danny decided he would be best left alone and he had chosen to walk back to Serena.
