Shiverstep's back was badly burnt, so we're his front paws but he hobbled onwards. When he reached the clan he collapsed panting.

Sandyfern hoped they were nearly at the border to go to SplashClan.

Cloudfoot saw Shiverpelt, and he padded over to help his brother.

Sunfrost sighed and nearly fell, her eyes glinting sadly and her gaze filling with tears, she couldn't believe her mother was dead.

[walk.]

Emberstar mewed, "Alright, we are in Splash clan territory now, let's move it!"

Shiverstep smiled wearily and got up again. His paws was burnt raw.

Brazenfire padded over to Sunfrost and mewed, "I'm so sorry Sunfrost...."

[wolf ;;]

Oakstorm flicked his ears and padded over to Emberstar to tell him about Hazelstream and Emberfrost. "Emberstar."

Cloudfoot flicked his ears. "Are you alright Shiverpelt?"

Sunfrost flicked her ears and looked at Brazenfire. "Its fine." She meowed, but the tears were still in her eyes.

[walk.]

Emberstar turned and mewed, "Yes Oakstorm, what can I do for you?"

Shiverstep nodded and mewed, "Just a bit sore, that's all...."

Brazenfire sighed and mewed, "I'm lucky, all my kin and parents are still alive, plus all my nephews and nieces and I'm gonna have a more siblings soon... I really feel for you. Dad felt really sad when his mum died, he had been very close to her."

[wolf ;;]

"We weren't able to save Hazelstream and Emberfrost." Oakstorm meowed. "Hazelstream was stuck in a tree, but she couldn't jump down because she was surrounded by flames, and Emberfrost had already fallen into the flames."

Cloudfoot nodded. "Do you want me to help you get to SplashClan? You could damage your paws worse if you don't have help."

Sunfrost nodded, and she flicked an ear.

[walk.]

Emberstar looked at him and mewed gravely, "We shall honour them tonight, they were two brave warriors who gave up everything for their clan. May star clan light their path. I am sorry for your loss."

Shiverstep nodded and mewed, "I'd like that, but you wouldn't be able to help me, I am much bigger than you."

Brazenfire sighed and entered Splash clan camp.

Oakstorm flicked his ears, and he looked up as they reached SplashClan camp.

Cloudfoot flicked his tail. "That doesn't mean I can't help if your bigger then me."

Sunfrost blinked her eyes, and she suddenly grew tense as they entered SplashClan camp.

[walk.]

Emberstar padded into the camp and mewed, "Hello? Sunstar?" he padded into the camp.

Shiverstep limped up the rocks and into the camp. He watched the forest get burnt to bits.

Brazenfire mewed, "What's up?"

Cloudfoot sighed and padded into the camp after the others.

"Oh...nothing you need to worry about." Sunfrost mewed.
