Shiverstep pricked his ears up and mewed, "We need to follow that sound!"

[wolf ;;]

Oakstorm nodded, and he pelted towards the sound, followed by Sunfrost. Oakstorm skidded to a stop as they reached the fire, and he hissed, he looked at a tree and saw Hazelstream clinging to it, eyes wide with fear as the flames made their way up the tree.

[walk.]

Shiverstep coughed and yowled, "Jump! Hazelstream, I promise I'll catch you!" he put out his paws and winced as the flames burnt his paws.

[wolf ;;]

"I can't!" Hazelstream yowled, and as the flames got closer to her she climbed more up the tree.

"Where's Emberfrost!" Sunfrost yowled, eyes glinting with fear, wanting to know where her mother was.

"She's dead...the flames had gotten to her." Hazelstream said.

[walk.]

Shiverstep yowled, "Jump please Hazelstrram!" he begged. He kept his paws on the blazing wood he winced and tears of pain began to well up in his eyes.

[wolf ;;]

"No! Save yourselves!" Hazelstream hissed.

"We have to do what she says!" Sunfrost hissed to Shiverpelt.

[walk.]

Shiverstep looked up desperately at Hazelstream and pulled away. He looked away and whispered, "I'm sorry..." he began to run away when a branch fell on him. He screeched in pain and tried to scrabble away.

[wolf ;;]

"Shiverpelt!" Oakstorm gasped, he and Sunfrost tried to help Shiverpelt.

[walk.]

Shiverstep winced as the branch scolded his beautiful misty grey pelt. He managed to get the branch off and panted, "Go!"

[wolf ;;]

Oakstorm flicked his ears. "Well lets go then!" He meowed, and he hurried back to the Clan, Sunfrost followed.
