Ember slept for a few hours before he woke up again, his stomach was flopped over the side of the sofa.

The man was reading a newspaper in a chair, frowning a bit when he read the sports section.

Ember rolled off the sofa and padded to him, sitting by his side.

The man smiled at Ember and reached down to pet him. "Hey there. I'm just readin' today's news... Wildcats lost again." He shrugged. "Y'know, you don't have a name yet, do you?"

Ember put his head on the man's lap, he didn't even know the man's name!

"Speaking of which, I haven't told you my name yet either... I'm Bill," he said.

Friesia sighed and closed her book. There was no way she would be able to concentrate while Ember was missing.

Friesia suddenly had an idea. She pulled out a book from her shelf and flipped through it, finally finding what she was looking for. She read carefully, not wanting to miss a single word.
