Flameous and his parents were in danger. The gangsters had used a net and caught them. The two humans with a knife snatched up his parents, who were not elemental, and asked,"Dead or alive boss?" The boss said,"Dead,"and smirked. Turning away, the gangsters shuffled to a corner. One second later, his parents were dead. Angry, he felt himself on fire. No, not only mentally, but physically! He attacked them, and managed to get away. In the water, his powers were still usable. He attracted a shark that was scared of Flame's current power, and helped him attack the gangsters. They were all injured, and one of them managed to get the boat drive back to shore.

Long ago, on a planet not to different from Earth, a species called the Octobaby ruled the planet. One day in the Volcano Region, the largest volcano named Flare erupted. Strangely, instead of erupting out lava, the volcano erupted out eggs! The eggs hatched one by one as they flew out of the volcano. Many of them were unhatched when they landed causing many of these interring population to die off. The ones who made it died later due to an unearthly snow storm in the land of Snowy Region which borders the Volcano Region. The snowy winds blew through and killed off every single Fire Elemental Octobaby but the one who was clever enough to dig a large hole underground and hide in it until the deadly storm passed. When the little guy climbed out, puddles of water were everywhere. To survive, he knew that he had to get to lava quickly or else his fate would be like the rest of the Fire Elementals. As soon as he touched lava, images raced through his mind. The Octobaby saw himself next to a fire being and knew instantly that he had created him. With a proud look on his face, he decided to name himself Flare and walked off looking for everything that he would need for the future.
