Rarely it is that owls are my favorite growth of the night, but this one is just stunning. I was certain I wouldn't love this litter because, despite loving the owls I think they are based on, I was a bit sad that they would be on horned owl styled lines instead of barn owl styled. This beauty growing showed me otherwise, and instead of wishing for them to stay little forever, I am very excited to see them all grow up. ^^

This rat is giving me mixed feelings. It is gorgeous, and the attention to detail is great, but the little rat looks so sad it just makes me want to hug it. </3 I was not expecting such an edits on the rat lines, however, and they really fit the design very nicely.

Not as beautiful as its littermates in my opinion, but still very pretty.

This one is just as cute as the ones that grew before, and is that a hint of an eye marking I can see on its face? Either way, it is adorable. I wonder what surprises these guys will give us when they grow up, though.

My head just don't want to accept that it isn't.

I see where you're coming from with the muzzle.
To me it kind of looks like a lava lamp. Top & bottom are silver while the colors are in the rat it's self. x3

Yes, I can see where lava lamp comes from - but I can't really see the silver parts as parts of a lava lamp. Because I know them only "smooth" like this:

But the rat has so many shades, that it looks like the surface isn't smooth.

And THAT is why I can't see "lava lamp", but "poor sad looking rattie that wears a muzzle".
Or an amulet, as mentioned before.

Otherwise, I'd definitely hoard it.
Maybe my purple-love will win in the end, because the colour is totally awesome :3

Such pretty growths tonight!
The bwolf is one of my favorite shades of deep purple, and as always I'm blown away by the jeweled appearance of the wings.
Barn owls are one of my absolute favorite owl species, so I'm very happy to see them represent here.
The rat is so much more different as an adult, but in a good way. This little girl reminds me of my lava lamp, actually. x3

I see him as a glass container filled with some kind of magic potion(with the metal on his nose being the lid)...a magician's companion kind of a rat ^^ although the amulet theory is good too actually.

Either way, I <3 this rat, a red and a green version would be so pretty! When I saw him in my rat group, I thought he must have been an older rat I'd got in a trade and not looked at properly. Definitely the most exciting August outcome for me so far, I can't wait to see the others :3

I only removed the smile and the whiskers since I was going for a rat shaped container but those are the only edits I did.
I didn't realize that the bottom metal looked like a muzzle. I'm sorry it does though.

Who said mystical/magical amulets? You are correct ma'am/sir.
But lava lamps are partially correct since I couldn't make the swirling magic inside to look more magical
so I stared at lava lamps pictures for help. XD
Someone had suggested glow stick rats so I thought I would try that but added a fantasy touch to them
so I made the chain and the end caps metal. <3

Seriously, I would hoard the hell out of it.

So they're magical amulet rats, hm? Awesome, and I can definitely see it coming through,
though my first guess was lava lamp as well ^^

I'm loving them already <3 Wouldn't hoard yet, but depending on the next outcomes...
Let's just say red, orange or black/gray would totally do it for me <3
