Ember relaxed a little bit now that Christopher was gone.

Friesia turned to Ember, her happy expression replaced by one that showed she was upset. "Ember, why'd you bite Chris?"

Christopher appeared in Cat's room.

"I-I didn't!" Ember whimpered....busted...

Friesia sat down next to Ember. "I'm not mad... I just want to know why."

Christopher sat down in a chair and sighed. Last night was awful.

Cat looked up at him. "Rough night?"

"Please just tell me Ember..." Friesia stroked his fur softly.

Christopher nodded and looked at Cat. "Ember's mad at me for some reason, and when I tried to talk to him, he bit me."

Cat looked down at the bite. "I'd get a doctor to look at that..."

Ember shook his head.

"Ember, please tell me, it'd make me feel so much better." Friesia looked at him pleadingly.

Christopher looked at the bite. "Is it really that bad? I've never been bitten before, so I don't know."

"A Dire wolf carries a toxin in it'sbite that, if left untreated, can infect itself, give you blood poisoning and kill you." Cat smiled.

Ember put his head between his paws and just whimpered.

Friesia sighed. "You could kill him..."

"Oh, I didn't know he was a Dire wolf... Well, yeah, guess I better get this treated then." Christopher shook his head. "But what kind of a docter has an antidote for Dire wolf poison?"
