Shine held her hand tighter "No. I love my brother.. But... I'm not sure he feels the same about me."

"Oh." Cynthia said again. "I'm glad you love him," she whispered.

Shine held her hand tighter "Get some sleep.."

Dilos flew high into the sky, she hovered and looked at everything below her

Cynthia nodded as a tired person would, slowly and taking a lot of effort. "Come here, I'm cold," she sighed.

Chaos spotted another dragon and flew towards it. "Hello!" he shouted over the wind.

Shine stood and gave her another blanket tucking her in to keep her warm "Better?" he asked softly

Cynthia nodded again before drifting off to sleep yet again.

Shine gently let her hand go and crossed his arms on the side of the bed and put his head on his hands.

Dilos turned to face him, she shrank back seeing the other dragon

"What's your name?" Chaos asked.


Cynthia walked along a twisting path through the trees. A dense fog had begun to drift downwards and she could hardly see a foot in front of her. She panicked and started shouting for help.
Cynthia whimpered in her sleep.
Eventually she could see a pair of golden eyes watching her and she grew quiet. The eyes grew closer and it became apparent they were Shine's eyes. Cynthia felt relief as she began to see Shine's outline. But relief turned to dread in an instant. Shine wasn't smiling at her... His teeth.were bared like a wild animal's and from his shoulders protruded dragon wings. His ears were pointed like a dogs and suddenly he was on all fours, growling at her... Hungry...
Cynthia ran, screaming, through the forest, nearly running into trees. She could feel his hot breath on her neck. She could feel his hunger. Cynthia screamed again and bolted upright in bed, drenched in a cold sweat.

Shine was passed out asleep with his head on his hands on the bedside, he had stayed up all night watching her and Shine was starving, dirty, and unbelievably tiered. He felt her wake and forced himself to do the same "Are you okay...?"
