"it was alright" Ember shrugged. "Have a good time with Dain?"

"Wonderful," Friesia said with a dreamy look on her face. She shook it off and turned back to Ember. "So, what'd you guys do?"

"nothing..." Ember said quietly.

"Nothing, nothing at all?" Friesia raised an eyebrow. "Okay..."

Ember went back to dazing in his bed, so far so good...

Friesia turned to Christopher and gently woke him up. "Hey Chris... you can go back to Cat now."

Christopher grumbled a bit when Friesia got him up. "Five more minutes..." he mumbled.

Ember sighed a little. Just go already...

Friesia's ear twitched at Ember's sigh, but she didn't turn around. "Come on Chris, wake up!"

Christopher jumped. "Huh?! Oh, hi Friesia. Well, I guess I'll be off then." He stood up and stretched.

Ember watched them quietly.

Friesia noticed the bite on Christopher's hand. "Where'd you get that?" she asked, already knowing who had done it.

Christopher cast a sideways glance at Ember. "Oh no one, just an old alley cat. I went to take out the trash, and it came outta nowhere." He shrugged. "Well, I better get going. Cat's probably wondering where I am." He disappeared.
