Friesia smiled up at Dain, her cat features reappearing now that they were alone. She sat down on the edge of the overhang, her feet dangling in the open air.

Dain joined her, but he took his boots off. The cool night air was heavenly...

Friesia looked at the moon, shining high up in the sky. "It's a wonderful night," she said softly.

"Yeah..." Dain smiled.

Friesia lay her head on Dain's shoulder, putting her hands in her lap. "Thank you Dain."

"y-your welcome..." Dain was often quiet and a man of few words...he kissed her forhead

Friesia gave a small smile. She loved the view from here, and now that Dain was with her everything felt so perfect.

Dain drifted off to sleep, holding Friesia close to him.

Friesia stayed awake a while longer, enjoying the beautiful night. She gazed up at the moon, and then looked at a little star some ways away from it. I wish Dain and I would get more moments like this... she thought, closing her eyes and falling asleep in Dain's arms.
