Usually every day of the week, unless I'm busy or on vacation. I have plenty of time on CS on a regular week, and would be happy to use that time to help. With school days, I am usually on for about a half an hour in the early morning and on later in the afternoon, when I have about three and a half hours. On the weekend I'm usually on all day.

4.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?:
Usually about four or five, sometimes more. On the weekend occasionally I have whole days I can be on CS.

5. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?:
I know almost all of the CS rules and how CS works, what the rares list means, how the pound works, and other things over the time I've been here. Most of my time is usually on the forum so I know what would be allowed and what is not allowed to be said on the forums. I know how to use BBCode if any users that are new need help with that, and I am open to any PMs for help, even now.

6.Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I love to help others, I don't mind answering the same question multiple times and as a General Helper I would no longer feel like a bother helping others on chickensmoothie with things they need. Also I used to watch the Problems&Suggestions forum quite a bit just to see who I could help. Seeing how some things may be confusing to a new member, I'd love to explain it to them and I understand the position gives me the right to nothing but to help others, no special abilities. Though this is a volunteer job, I'd like to help as much as I can.

I'm on at least once every day, when possible.

Usually four hours or more. This is split usually between during school time (6:30am-2:30pm) and when I get home (4pm onwards).

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
I do have experience with peer mediation, and I am known to be very good at bringing unity at a time of change, and I'm very patient.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?
Well, I could start off like everyone else by saying that I love to help and such, and that's all true, but I don't think you want to read that over and over again. But it's true, helping people is fun, and helping out the community is very, very rewarding. You see, it's not the colour change, or the slightly different access that brings me here, it's knowing that so many people want to help and be a part of this that makes me want to join in with the crowd. I will admit, I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to helping, because it always bothers me when people can't get the answer they want, and I'll always wander off and seek the answer if I don't know it, reaching myself new things along the way.
Overall, it would be a nice change of pace, and a very rewarding job.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
Everyday, I've recently come back from a brief time away from CS. Before that I was on 7 days and once again I'm back to 7 days.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
Gosh, I'm sorta embarrassed to say but anywhere from 7+, closer to 12 hours most days. I work from home which means I'm at the computer most of the day, CS is often open in a tab during that time.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position:
I'm pretty well rounded in my knowledge of CS, never would I call myself an expert because there will be times when I need help or can't answer a question but am always trying to learn more to help myself and others.
My better skills on CS are with the actual forum, RP's and trading/pets.
Other than that I've previously worked at a riding school where handling peer mediation something I was often doing and think myself good at it (two children wanting the same pony and neither willing to ride another one as an example). Online I am a calm person who can explain things multiple times, multiple ways and am happy to refer someone to another member if I am unable to help.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?
Why else other than I wish to help, the feeling of helping someone is wonderful. I'd love to give something back to CS as it is my happy place away from the real world.

I visit chicken smoothie everyday. Its like a healthy drug to me now ^^ I have missed out on a few months, but thats because we changed houses, moved houses, everything was complicated then. But now Im back and running onto my daily online 'playwork'. Unless Im on vacation or my internet has crashed. Which rarely happens, Im practically on every day.


How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?

It really depends - ( I'm from Australia, so I may be on at like 3am US time :3 )

Approx. (Times change sometimes with upcoming events)
Monday ~ 1 hour
Tuesday ~ 2 hours
Wednesday ~ 2.5 hours
Thursday ~ 1 hour
Friday ~ 1.5 hours
Saturday ~ 1.5 hours
Sunday ~ 2 hours or more

I dont have set times, though Im usually always logged on with my phone(Slow internet, but still works ). If Im slow at responding with anything, it would mean Im on my phone. It takes sometimes 20 seconds to load a page -.-

I wouldnt consider myself as a trade-expert. But I have been playing on this website for about 2 years and most of my time of chicken smoothie is trading, then roleplaying( But thats crossed off my list for quite a while ), and I am 100% sure to know what an unfair trade is, since I have literally spent about a quarter of my time on chicken smoothie cancelling trades. Im not too confident on item trading, but pet trading is my sort of thing. I have spent most of my time on this website trading, and helping on those trade forums like 'Is this a fair's trade thread'. And a few more.

As for Oekaki, Im not going to say Im the one to turn to always. I have done a few dodgy drawings, that are defintly kindergarden work. But I did them to see how Oekaki worked on Chicken Smoothie. I do understand most of the icons, tools and options of Oekaki. But Im not going to be the first priority user to turn to. Sorry.

I actually didnt know there ever was a 'Suggestions/Problems Forum'. But now mentioned for the first time, I'm sure to be visiting it a lot, since I love helping out on this website.

Peer Meditation ~ I do a little bit, at school, me and my friends help sort many things for the teachers when their hands are full. Sorting people out in class, a little bit of this, a little bit of that ...

I also am half chinese, I do know fluent chinese, how do speak, write and read it. Though I dont really know if that will ever come handy on a US website >.< . I know a fair amount of Japanese and a little bit of Italian. I also know a little bit of Cantonese ^^.


Why do you want to be a General Helper?

Why? I practically grew up on this website. When I first started I didnt know a thing, I alwasy turned to 'Mods' for help. This position isnt technically a mod, but it does include helping people, and thats what I love doing x3 I do know that I used to speak angrily to other people when they spoke angrily to me, but early last year I came to realize, there was no point in that. Because the most likely conclusion for that is the conversation getting reported to Mods. But these days, I actually use proper grammar(Occasionly I get auto-corrected. Or just dont know the spelling, but it will still be readable) , I sometimes even love to play around in the Games Forum when I get bored and forever alone at the Trading Centre. I was the one being helped when I started, and I would like to give back, and do what other users were doing, helping others when they're confused. I dont mind repeating things over and over again, since its online. Because I was always the one not understanding things back then. I will visit the 'Suggestions and Problems' Forum more regularly and see if there any questions to be answered or dealt with. Even if I dont get the spot, Im still glad to help.

Thank you for giving me a chance to go for this spot, even if it isnt even a 'mod' spot.

I want to be able to help make change to CS,and by that I mean more happy users, and more good trades(aka helping people).I also want to be a general helper because there are lots of users who have question that may never get answered,but with me that can change,I have lots of free time and I could answer questions.

All seven days a week.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?

On an average day, I normally spend 4-5 hours, but if I am on holiday/weekend, I spend about 6-7 hours online.
Sometimes school and after-school clubs get the better of me, so I will give you some main times (these are not always the same!)
Monday (School/And clubs)- 2/3 hours
Tuesday (School/And clubs)- 1/2/3 hours
Wednesday (School/And clubs)- 2/3 hours
Thursday (School/And clubs)- 1/2/3 hours
Friday (School/ Maybe clubs, maybe not) If there are clubs on, then- 2/3 hours, and if not- 5/6 hours.
The weekend is 6/7 hours per day, and the holidays is even more ^^
Unless I am away from home, or the internet messes up *which it might do from time-to time* I might be gone for a little moment, or perhaps more that a day, unless I put up in my siggie that I am away for more than three days.

I feel as though I am an ideal candidate for this post, as I am: hard-working, a good listener, very approachable to difficult situations, and very supportive to members who need help/e.c.t, I also have experienced what Chickensmoothie has to offer, and I have a vast knowledge of how the website operates, and know the inner workings like the back of my hand.
Due to my vast experience online and outside in the real world, I have already undertook peer mediation with fellow family members with a productive, and supportive outcome. Also, another useful skill I could bring to the position, is that I don't pick out favourites, and treat everybody equally, with respect and confidence, I can also keep calm in tense situations. In the past, other random members had PM-ed me about various issues that they have spotted, or were just asking a general question, some of them requiring quite complex answers, and I have answered them without hesitation, or directed them to a Moderator if it has been past my power/control.

I understand how all the tools/options in the Oekaki work/function and have completed some 'in-depth' drawings with them. I have also passed on my experience on how to use these functions to other members who are unsure on how to use them. The feedback that they gave me was very positive and cheerful, telling me that it was very useful advice, and that it would help them in the future years to come.

I consider myself to be a trade value expert, as I have visited most of the forums, including the: rares list thread, the trade rant thread, and the good trade thread, and my friends who have also been giving me amazing tips on how to tighten up my knowledge with rares, achieving successful trades.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?

Considering being a General Helper is quite a time-consuming position, I thought it beneficial if I dedicate some of my spare time and effort to those members out there that feel lost and lonely, to be reassuring and comforting. As I have said above, I am friendly and hard-working, and would love to spend my time out helping, welcoming and tutoring newer members that have recently joined the community of chickensmoothie.
I have also noticed that Chickensmoothie is like one massive family, where each group hangs around similar forums and threads, where they mix in and socialize, so I would like to help bring it closer together, with as much care and delicacy as I can possibly muster. I can promise you this, I wouldn't ever let you down, and will continue to strive and pull my weight, working amongst the other General Helpers to make this website an even better place to come back to. Imagine logging on to an online pet site, posting in the newer member thread, that always welcomes you with complete random members, that indicates a warm and relaxed place, making you want to come back!
And I want to be one of those people that makes it happen. At least you get a feeling of achievement, self-worth and satisfaction.

Every day. Once in a while I might not be able to get on for more than a few minutes to check trades and PMs, but I make sure I get on every day.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?:
During the summer, 4-5 hours (not all at once). During the school year, I still usually manage a couple of hours.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position:
I know a little bit of French and Spanish (although I'm nowhere near fluent) and can usually figure out Italian if nessecary, am rather good at coding, and have been co-Admin of a small science fiction site for over a year, so I know how to help people when they need it. I know the basics of trading and mentored someone on rarities for a while when they were new to the site to make sure that they didn't get scammed. I know the basics of Oekaki, how to use all the different tools (although I personally am not that good of an artist). In real life I usually end up being the peacemaker between my friends when they fight, so I've gotten pretty good at diffusing difficult situations. I've also volunteered in mentoring programs for the past couple of years at the youth services in my town, so I'm good at teaching people younger/less experienced than I am.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I wouldn't consider myself to be an expert in anything, but I know the basics of this site, and how to get the most out of it. I've had a fantastic time on it so far, and I hope to pass on my knowledge and experience for this site to new members and those who may need help.

I speak Latvian, English and German, if really needed then I can speak a little bit of Russian.
I`m good with BBCoding.
I`m good with handling conflict situations, calming people down and working with others in general.
I wouldn`t consider myself a trade-value expert but I`m able to help younger players with fair/unfair trades, I`m not an expert in rares list trades though.
I`m always happy to help and It`s really hard to get me really annoyed. I`m always polite towards everyone, no matter what.
Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I know how it feels when you can`t find anyone who could help you or answer your questions about the game. when I first joined (back in 2009 with my first account) I quit it after 2 days because I didn`t understand how the game works and how do I get pets etc., in 2010 I came back and registered with this account and somehow got my way through my questions, I just want to help others so they dont leave the game like I first did. I think I could be useful as a general helper because usually when I`m online (when it`s day where i live) there are no general helpers online, my time zone gives me the chance to be online when others aren`t.
