September 23, 2009 - But I became much more active in mid-2010 and knew about CS from 2008, but forgot to join then.
2.How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):

1418, including this one at time of this post, but it will go up by the time this is seen. But I tend to look around topics on the forum as well, only posting if I need to.
3.How many days a week do you usually visit CS?

No less than six, but usually the full seven. (My school provides me with a laptop and I have one at home for the summer, so getting on should be no problem.)
4.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?

Anywhere from two hours to six hours. I'm on very often and with limited interuption.
5.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?

Last year, I took Latin in school, and I'm now on my first of two years of Spanish I'll be taking at school. I think I know enough of the Spanish and Latin languages to be able to hold up a conversation. I know how to use all of the tools in Oekaki as well as having experience in posting in that section of the forum. I am quite good at valuing trades (Based upon year/month and rarity) and help my friends around the website and forum from time-to-time (I have many people who I know in real life who are also on here.). I know how to navigate the main website, forum, and the PMing system and would know how to help people get around them and answer questions if they had any. I am very quick on replying to questions via PM. Also, from time-to-time, I gift new members pets (Usually pets a bit older, since they can be hard to get) to help them get started on collecting. I look at the rules frequently, just to see if anything's changed, and read the pre-existing ones while I'm there. I'm actually quite nice and I feel that is necessary to be able to properly help others and amongst my friends, I tend to be the one who does not pick sides, but rather tries to find a solution to the problem.
6.Why do you want to be a General Helper?

I love to help other people. It is a very fulfilling feeling. I want to be a General Helper because I'd be able to help other users around the site so they could enjoy CS as much as I do. I think I would be able to help them well without causing more confusion than was there originally. Plus, I am patient and will gladly (and kindly) explain something to someone as many times as needed until they understand what to do.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
I usually visit every day. I didn't always, but I've been more active with my art shop so I normally visit every day to check on that and PMs and such.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
Anywhere from 2-5 hours spread out throughout the day. I get on every so often for 30 minutes to an hour or so. ^^

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
Well, you mentioned languages... I am fluent in both English and Japanese, and know a smattering of Spanish as well. Not sure how helpful that would be though, so on to my more pertinent "skills": I haven't been on CS for as long as lots of people here, but I think the almost 2-year period of time has been sufficient for me to learn my way around CS. I know my way around the site, the oekaki, and the forums, and I understand adopting, the pound, posting, editing avatars and signatures, HTML... all that stuff that seems to come up in the CS suggestions and problems board. I also have a good understanding of the complex trading/rarity system (although I'm not so good at item trades xD). I also have experience with a variety of art programs and have had lots of practice explaining those kinds of things. I haven't been on here long enough to have forgotten the problems and questions that I had when I first started, so I think I can be of help to newer players in that area. I realize that to be a General Helper, one must be polite, patient, and willing to help at all times, which are all things I believe I can handle. Finally, in my time around CS I've become accustomed to the general feel of the users here --- how they respond and react to certain things, and in turn how to deal with them politely and helpfully, which I think would be beneficial to a GH.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I would like to be a General Helper because I enjoy helping people and solving problems. This also feels like a small way to give back to CS, in exchange for all the fun hours I've spent on here. Obviously, I can help people without the official GH "title", but in a forum of 200,000+ members, it's hard for newbies to find someone who's willing to help. Therefore I would love to be a part of a group dedicated to helping members at any time, and knowing that I'm out there and easily accessible for anyone with questions by simply clicking on the General Helpers group.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? usually between 2 and 8 hours, i just started school today, so i am not available during the day, i will get on usually when i get up, and always when i am home, i am usually on my Kindle Fire, but its just as good as a computer^^
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) i know how to use google translate, and i am gonna take german next year, since i am part german
i will listen to people rant, and i have been able to control my temper now that i am more mature, and i only take my anger out by drawing now, i don't fight with anyone, (anymore), and i know how to use the forum, and i certainly know how to use the rares list guide... i am not really sure what else, but i do use proper Grammar unlike some people(for example do you speak any other languages, or have you had any experience in peer mediation? Do you consider yourself a trade-value expert? Do you already answer a lot of questions in the forum? Do you know how all the tools/options in the oekaki work?)
Why do you want to be a General Helper? i like people a lot more than i used too! i love to help people in real life, and i am a mod on another website that a friend of mine created! we became friends when she made me a mod...

What date did you register as a CS member?: April 20th, 2011. I may seem a bit on the new side, but I'm actually quick to learn and I know most of what there is to know about CS already.

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 2972. Wow... didn't realize I'd made so many... anyways, I'm definitely over the limit.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS? Seven days a week, as often as I can. I'm only absent when I'm on vacation, and that happens maybe once every couple of years. Even when I'm on vacation, I still check on the phone, even though it's a pain for me to type, and on the computer too if I can get wi-fi.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? Since I'm still in school, on a school day I do around two or three hours (my official limit is one and a half, but believe me, that never happens). On the weekends I think I put a good three and a half to four hours. On any given day I'm always popping in and out, so though I only spend a bit really scrolling through forum posts and/or doing concentrated drawing, I'm always available to answer PMs or trades and any other important things I'm waiting up on.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) Unfortunately, I don't speak any languages other than English, though I try and help anybody who's having trouble. I do try and settle arguments as best I can and I think I am relatively unbiased when dealing with user-to-user issues. I have enough experience trading to know if something's fair or not, but unfortunately I can't say I'm a trading expert. With oekaki, I consider myself good at handling the different tools and which things create which effect, I give fair but polite and motivating criticism and try my best to help everybody get along. I'm always happy to help people with CS technical problems, as people did for me when I was new, and I know all the basics about how to change your site layout and what to do to get tablet pressure and practically anything new users need to know.

Why do you want to be a General Helper? I like to help people, and I'm good at it. When I was new, I didn't even know there were general helpers at all, so I had to find my own way around. Thankfully there were many kind people who gave me advice and tips. With more general helpers, I think it will be even easier than before to learn how to navigate CS and set up your account. The practical side of the job I'm sure I'll have no problem with, because I don't have a ton of big stuff to work on, just my artshop and a couple roleplays. I always have various tabs open, so it's easy to keep a window with the Introductions or Site Difficulties thread open to check back and post occasionally. I'm always open for private messages and am happy to help anybody who needs it, even when I don't need to. I like to multitask, so I think replying and drawing and roleplaying will work out just fine. I remember how lost I was when I first came to CS, and I don't want anybody to quit just because they can't figure it out, because CS is a wonderful getaway for people who are troubled, as well as a gateway for new opportunities. When I first came I didn't even know the word 'fursona' and now I'm helping people design their own, as well as being on my third! I love helping people discover new things, and being a general helper will make that even easier, as well as official.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?: I try to get on every day.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?: At LEAST 2.5 hours total per/day.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required): Even though I am not a great artist, I do know how to use the features on Oekaki well, and have already answered many questions (and people seem to have appreciated the answer ). I am also pretty good with the basic coding on CS, and learning more about it everyday. I know a bit of French even though English is my mother tongue, and will continue learning it this year.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?: As I said above, I already have helped people and they seemed appreciative of my advice and answers, so I think I could do some good on CS. I love this website and everyone on it, and it would be great if I could be of use to the great people here.

5.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position: I know how to work the Oekaki, and I can be verry helpful with how to post things. For example, An image on the Oekaki, with a computer like mine, you right click the image, go down to properties, and copy the URL, and there you go, you can post your image around the forum!
6.Why do you want to be a General Helper? I am on often, and I would love to help others however I can. I'm a friendly user, and have helped others myself before.
