-What date did you register as a CS member?
18th December 2009.
-How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
16387 posts in total.
Before we talk about where we're most seen, we're going to be honest with you as truthfully we aren't seen in the 'Help Forums' all that often, but we are known on the Fair Trade Thread and it's Xat Chat alot, plus we help others frequently in our PM's with small problems & complications they might be having.
We post very frequently and on a variety of forums, although we are most commonly found in the ones below;
-Roleplay
-Oekaki
-Art Shops/Adoptables
-FTT
-Annoyance & Debate Threads
-Fanclubs
-Trade/Auction Threads
-How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
We're guaranteed to be on CS 7 days a week. The only reason we wouldn't be online 7 days a week is if either of us were was on holiday, which isn't often. This shouldn't be a problem anyhow, as we are both eager to help CS users, new and old, plus we have a shared account and it would be very unlikely we're on holiday at the same time.
-How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
As we are from different time-zones, it is quite hard to tell, but I'll give a best guess at 13+ hours, this means that any PM's/Questions we should get are replied to within minutes unless neither of us are online.
-Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
We know a few languages, such as German, French & Spanish although we've never found the need to use these skills on CS yet, but we're always open to using our languages to help any users who speak only one language so they can enjoy CS just as much as anyone else.
We both have a well rounded knowledge of 'trade-value' and we could help with any trading problems or just queries users have, as minor as requesting if a trade is fair. We have knowledge of how much items & pets are worth on the site, not just through rarity but current demands also, ranging from old to new.
We both know how to use oekaki effectively, with all the tools and options available. If there were ever any problems about oekaki we would be able to answer them without hesitation as we both use it on a regular basis in all of the oekaki forums. We know how to turn drawings into adoptables (ect..) and can show the user examples & tutorials on oekaki if they don't understand anything clearly. We are both very familiar with all the Chickensmoothie layout and can help with almost anything that a person, new or old, had doubts about. Not only could we help them with anything on CS, but we could also help wider with any other problems they have too such as computer software problems.
There is a lot of bullying, and home problems from people we're surrounded by in our day to day lives, and we're very much trusted with any secrets or if people want to vent their feelings in each of our communities, in fact we've had a few problems ourselves, so we can comprehend and make a connection with most users with emotional problems. We always give the best advice we can in all areas, but especially when it comes to feelings and emotions. We're friendly and easy to talk to, and we can always talk or have a laugh with anyone who needs cheering up. We're always there for any users on CS outside of any job we have for emotional help, we try to always watch over our fellow 'smoothians and boost their esteem and feelings as much as possible to keep everyone happy, just like the intended atmosphere on CS.
We always try to encourage people to be a good chickensmoothian & follow the rules also, instead of rebelling and making any other staff's work harder than it already is.
We love to be sociable and talk to as many people as possible & make friends here, so we're always chatting and sorting other peoples problems, even if it isn't always visible on the forum.
We both have a good work ethic and wouldn't take our situation for granted, as many people may say they are in for the job, and then sometimes back out, or are lazy and don't take full responsibility, but we will always be helping people and answering any questions people may have because if your having difficulties on CS, it can get frustrating. The frustration and stress of not being able to function your account, {ect..} properly would remove the fun from CS, which in our opinion would be awful since CS is such a fun place to be if you have someone who can help you understand it.
-Why do you want to be a General Helper?
We'd love to be general helper(s) as we love to help people. It makes us happy and it gives us something to do with our spare time, instead of using it wastingly. Even if we didn't get accepted into the job, we still help people, we guess the only difference really would be that it would be 'official' and it would be easier for people to get help from us, and vice versa. {For us to help people}
Many people will have applied to get known and have a colored name, and personally I think that's a little insensitive and wrong. It may be exciting, but they're applying for the complete wrong reasons. We on the other-hand are apply though not only our love to help people, but for our love of CS. It has given us many happy memories, helped with our problems, home & CS ones and cured our boredom, so we'd just love to help others with their problems back too. It is an escape from problems you have in the real world, therefor we've always wanted to give something back. We both want to be involved in making CS an even better place, if we're 'official' or not so wherever or whatever the situation we'll always try our hardest.
-Other
We have one warning, but we are unsure what it was for. We hope this isn't a problem and you'll still consider us as a possibility.
Thank-you for this opportunity & consideration, also good luck to any other users applying!
