How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?: More than 5 hours xD (Not healthy xD because I don't stop for a break.)
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position: Well I will have to say that I love to help out, and I have solved LOADS of problems in the past, like if someone posts on the wrong forum, I ask them to askt a mod to move it to the wright forum, or if someone has posted some that is a scam or a thread that is nothing to do with the topic, I either telll them it's a scamm and scams are not alowd or that It does not belong there. I also know a lot of things about the oekaki, I love to darw all the time and I know how to use layers and smoothing (ect), so if anyone whats to ask me something aboutt the oekaki I will not mind. And yes I speak other languages, I speak Welsh (I live in Wales), Finnish, German, Dutch and English.
Why do you want to be a General Helper?: Because I love CS and I have been on it for a long time, I also would love to help out and make sure everything is fine in the forums. I also like to think of others before myself (I like to think of myself as a kind person and a funny one xD).

I usually welcome people in the introductions boards who are new. I also adopt newbies and answer questions.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?

I would love to be a general helper because I enjoy helping others. It's so fun to help people around CS, and it makes you feel good for knowing you've done something helpful!
I don't want to be a general helper just because you get a coloured name, but because I love to help people and I'm there to talk to, I want people to know they can PM me questions! :)

I am usually on seven days a week, but the past couple weeks it's been less because of my fathers death and all his affairs are on my shoulders, but soon it should be back to seven days a week.

4.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?

Usually 6 on a slow day, but more like 12 usually.

5.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?

I answer a lot of questions already on the forum. I PM people their answers a lot as well. I have had experience in many different parts of the site while I have been here. If I do not know the answer, I know how to search for it. If I still cannot answer a question I direct the particular person to someone who can. I help a few people with trades, telling them what is fair, and isn't. I have played as a peer-mediator more than once for friends, both in real life and right here on ChickenSmoothie. I am also a very patient person with people and I never get too angry at PMs, trades, or posts[and if I do get angry, I never direct it toward the person directly], and I don't hold grudges.
I'm also a mod on 2 other pet adoptable sites, and a few groups on VampireFreaks. I also run an advice column and the owner of the CS Gazette.

6.Why do you want to be a General Helper?

I want to be a General Helper because I feel I am fit for the job. I usually don't have a problem with many people. I don't hold grudges, for I think it only causes future problems. I am kind to everyone. I also feel that I could help a lot of people with trading. Though I'm not an expert, I know I have helped quite a few people in the past. I have also adopted a newbie from the 'Adopt a Newbie' thread in the Introductios.. I also feel that I am generous. Many times when people have asked for pets and if they don't have a wishlist or hoard pet of mine, I will many times just give it to them for free. I have been on CS for a while, so I know a lot about it and have a lot of experience. This site is a fun place, and I want to help show all members how wonderful it can be.
Another reason I would like to become a General Helper is because I remember when General Helpers [then called Newbie Helpers] were first brought about that they helped not only newbies but older members as well. I went to the Helpers to ask questions and I alway ended up getting helpful answers in return. Being a General Helper would be a great opportunity to show my skills and I think it would make me a better person both in real life and online.

November 6th, 2011. I know I'm still pretty new compared to many members, but I spend so much time on CS, I've learned practically everything essential to being a good CS member.

Practically everyday, unless there are complications. For example, right now, I'm on vacation, so I'm on a less often.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
To be honest, I practically live on CS. I don't really count the time, but I'd say at the very least 6 hours a day.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
Well, I speak English and Chinese fluently, and have a pretty advanced understanding of Spanish. Also, I have applied and have been accepted on many sites as a moderator. Unfortunately, many of the sites have died or never progressed. One site I am currently a part of is Chibifurs. I also understand how the site and BBC code work, as I have created forum using Freeforums before. I have helped out others in the forums as well. I also have a very good sense of judgement. I know clearly what's right and wrong. And for what it's worth, I'm an extremely friendly person. However, I know when to be serious and when it's alright to be more relaxed.
I consider myself a people person. I feel that I get along well with others, so anyone can come up to me with a question and expect a clear, friendly response. My knowledge covers a wide expanse of topics, so chances are, any questions and problems can be taken care of.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I really, really, genuinely love helping others. It just makes me happy to see everyone getting along. I've been on CS for a while, and everything is amazing. I'd absolutely love to help out here to keep the site running smoothly. Also, I want the members to know that I can always help them, and that it's okay to ask questions. I remember what it was like to be new to the site, and what it was like to be on this site for a while, but still have a question that I could never seem to find the answers to. I want to be a general helpers because I could assist people in any situation. I know I'm not the most experienced member, or the have the most posts, but I truly believe I can make a difference if you'd give me a chance.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
Every day. We both always have a tab open with Chicken Smoothie on, when we sign into our computers & laptops. We both often refresh to see if there is anything new to us. If none of us are online during the day..somethings wrong

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
Well, Katie usually spends around anywhere from 4-8 hours some days (Tab open while I'm on other sites.) whereas Lukira spends anything from 4-6 hours.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example do you speak any other languages, or have you had any experience in peer mediation? Do you consider yourself a trade-value expert? Do you already answer a lot of questions in the forum? Do you know how all the tools/options in the oekaki work?)
Katie speaks French a bit, not entirely fluently, but knows how to say quite a lot in it. She is also learning Spanish and can say basic things. Lukira on the other hand can speak basic french that is taught in school, along with Spanish. She is learning Danish from a good friend who lives there, and obviously we can both speak English c: We both don't really have any peer meditation as such, but reading about it, it seems familiar to us and could be picked upon easily. None of us are the totally outgoing type, and usually just read the Suggestions board to learn stuff for ourselves from others peoples questions so we can answer them in other situations. Katie does a bit or artwork of her own on her tablet, and knows the basic/rough rules of Oekaki but cant go into the most amount of details. She knows how brushes work with experiences from GIMP and slight of Photoshop. She knows how some of the tools work in the Oekaki drawing, but not all and is something she'd like to learn herself.Lukira is not an artist but knows very well how the oekaki works from layers to choosing the correct tools. She has great experiences in GIMP and Photoshop and have been able to work out how to do similar things in Oekaki here. We aren't the most detailed people in trade values, but we know whats fair and whats not in advanced trades. If we didn't know the answer we'd know how to redirect the person whether it be through the Help system or a PM to another fellow General Helpers etc.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?
We'd both like to be General Helpers as it's a great experience to learn. We try to help others if they PM us and like to think we helped within the situations we get involved in. We've had a warning before for Art Theft but it wasn't intentional and happened a long time ago, wasn't in this year and it wasn't near the end of last year either...its got too of been 10months + (We think). Katie learnt from her mistakes and uses the ability of this to educate others on the wrong doings and not what to do with first hand experience. We are both very intelligent and have great knowledge of the site and would love to help others gain that knowledge, just like we did. We have a great grasp at everything throughout the site but there is always room for improvement in our eyes. We love helping people inside and outside of CS and would love for both of us, to be able to help CS users more than before. Even if this form would not be considered...we will still continue to help others on and off the site.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position: I have been a peer mediator for about a year and a half - I know how to resolve a problem, look at it from both sides, and be unbias while resolving it. I know a lot about the oekaki system & about CS in general. Currently I am only fluent in english. I'm a very patient person & I don't become frustrated easily at all, honestly I enjoy explaining to people how to navigate around the site, and giving advice to them. I'm not the most knowledgeable about fair trades, but if someone did come to me asking about one, I would definitely redirect them to the FTT or somewhere else they could get a more accurate answer. I know a lot about BBC-coding, so I could help users out with that, I know a lot of people are pretty confused with coding (I've seen lots of questions asking how to create a click-through link with your own text and such). uvu
Why do you want to be a General Helper? I think being a GH would be a really fun way for me to get even more involved then I already am! I'd really love to be able to team up with the other helpers along with the staff to help you guys out and take some of the work off your shoulders! I understand this job is probably a lot more tough that it seems to be, and I am 100% willing to take it on. I won't let you down. 4.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? During the school year, I have two to three hours in the evening I spend here. I'm on and off all day in summer and weekends.
5.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position: I speak German and a little bit of Spanish, I've had a decent amount of experience with the Oekaki, and I'm I pretty calm and patient person on the whole.
6.Why do you want to be a General Helper? The helpers helped me out a ton as a newbie, so here's my chance to return the favor <3. I love helping people, and I have some experience with help forums similar to the Suggestions and Problems board because of the time I spent pitching in on Howrse.com's "Game Play Forum". It would really mean a lot to me if I could be a General Helper!

On normal occasions I visit it everyday, and usually more then once in that same day though if school proves to be a challenge I may have to reduce that amount to maybe a few days a week; Despite this, I can assure that I would be on at least twice a week and most likely more then that.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?

Well, really, it varies. If there's an interesting amount of things happening I could be found on there for the entire day but if there's a miniscule amount of things I'd be on for maybe an hour or two; though, if I got this "job" I think there'd be multiple things to do that would keep me busy and occupied for a good number of hours. xD

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?

Well, I vary in languages such as English, Flemish, and French, but I suppose for skills I baby-sit and such so I'm used to repetitive questions and having to point out obvious things and such, as well as dealing with tempers.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?

Well, there's numerous reasons but it's mostly because I can remember when I first joined and it was not pretty; I was confused, had the ego of a narcissist, and possessed a temper all too atrocious for words. In other words, I was a child. I just don't want someone else making some of the mistakes I did and I think if I were to be a GH I could help someone grow as a person instead of get them a reputation, or have them make a fool of themselves or something of the sort. I enjoy watching people grow into the adults they are and even just into better people. Besides, it can be hard on a site you're unfamiliar with but if you had people to turn to and explain it to you it could become a place where you make some of your best friends or find someone special or even uncover a hidden talent as well as have fun. Sometimes being a kid can be stressful but with sites such as this it can be a relief, but only if you know how to use it. So...I suppose that's why, though I also enjoy helping people around new places and just getting to meet new people, in general.

3. How many days a week do you usually visit CS?: I come online everyday, its very rare I don't make it online at least once a day.
4. How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?: I check CS intermittently throughout the day so I can spend anywhere between two and ten hours a day on the site. I like to browse the forums in my spare time so I can be around for long stretches of time.
5. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example do you speak any other languages, or have you had any experience in peer mediation? Do you consider yourself a trade-value expert? Do you already answer a lot of questions in the forum? Do you know how all the tools/options in the oekaki work?) : having been around the forums for years now browsing topics and such I would say I have quite an extensive knowledge of how the site works and could answer most questions posed to me. I have a decent understanding of pet rarity and know how to trade fairly. I also know where to point people if I could not help them myself.
I have worked for many years as a riding instructor and as such have built up patience for helping people. I am a very patient person and do not get frustrated easily.
6. Why do you want to be a GeneralHelper?
Chicken smoothie has been more than just an adoptables site to me over the last few years. It'd become a welcome haven when I've been upset, somewhere to laugh with friends and a place to discuss things of interest to me with like minded people. I've roleplayed, drawn and chatted for hours here and I love this site. It would be fantastic to be able to give something back, to use what I've learned of the site in my years here to help others. Like I was helped when I first joined. CS has always been such a friendly community place and I'd like to help keep it that way. Anything I can do to help.
I genuinely enjoy helping people and am quite happy to lend a hand to anyone lost or confused. The general helper position is one I would greatly enjoy, helping to ensure new players have a positive introduction to the site and all players have someone they can rely on for help and guidance whenever they need it.
