Hawkfang looked at the kit and mewed, "Yeah, I like it, what do you think?" Oakkit nodded and bounced about happily. Hawkfang chuckled and picked him up. He was already bigger than Reedkit and he was three moons old!

Rubystorm signed and murmered, "Won't it ruin your reputation having me as a mate?'

[wolf ;;]

Sparrowsong purred, and she watched as the brown tabby with the white paw came over. "Whats my name?" He mewed. "How about...Onekit, because you have one white paw." Sparrowsong purred.

Moonheart flicked his ear and looked at her. "No, and if it does why would I care anyway?"

Hawkfang pondered for a moment and mewed, "Yeah, that's cute. What do you think Oakkit?" Oakkit frowned at Onekit and mewed, "It suits him, he has one chance to beat me and I'll win!" Emberstar picked up Oakkit by the scruff and mewed, "Ok you little monster, you need to be nice to your brothers and sisters! I am your grandad and the leader!"

Rubystorm sighed and shifted her paws in the sand. She mewed lightly, "I should just die, nobody appart from you and Gremlinstorm want me and I am not a good fighter or hunter, I am not kind..."

Onekit flattened his ears. Sparrowsong flicked an ear, then looked at Hawkfang. "What should we name the golden specked tom?"

Moonheart touched his muzzle to Rubystorm's ear. "You shouldn't die, your a good cat." He meowed. "You could always train yourself to hunt and fight, and you are kind."

Hawkfang shrugged and mewed, "We need to pass on something to the next generation, so Fangkit!" he chuckled at his joke. Then he realised Emberstar was glaring at him and he mewed, "Let's name our girl Firekit, because it sounds like Ember? And she looks like a fiery spark." Emberstar seemed satisfied.

Rubystorm growled, "Fuzzyfur doesn't think that, she hates my guts. And everything else". Her pale blue eyes flickered and she continued, "Oh I try to teach myself but always fail."

Sparrowsong purred, and she looked at the blue-grey flecked she-cat. "She can be Bluekit." She meowed, then she looked at the last she-cat. "And she can be Mosskit."

"Well, i could have a talk with Fuzzyfur." Moonheart meowed. "And I could teach you if you like."

[walk.]

Mosskit meweled weakly in her father's arms and stretched out for he mother. Hawkfang passed her to Sparrowsong immediantly.

Rubystorm mewed, "I'd like that, thank you...."

Sparrowsong frowned and looked at Mosskit, then she grabbed her daughter gently and began to lick her.

Moonheart nodded, and he flicked his tail.

Mousekit snuggled into her mother and fell asleep. Oakkit was bouncing around while Firekit sat, kicking her paws. Swankit frowned and turned away.


Rubystorm stared at herself in the water.
