How many days a week do you usually visit CS? everyday, lol....even when I don't have access to a computer I use my phone to sneak on and check on things!

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? 3-5 during the week, significantly more on weekends. Usually whenever I'm on my computer (which is embarrassingly often, lol) I always have CS open in a tab even if I'm not actively on it so that I can check things every couple of minutes.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example do you speak any other languages, or have you had any experience in peer mediation? Do you consider yourself a trade-value expert? Do you already answer a lot of questions in the forum? Do you know how all the tools/options in the oekaki work?) I do know Spanish and would say i'm at an intermediate-advanced level in reading and writing. I don't have a lot of experience with peer mediation, but I do have experience supervising kids and others and leading them in activities and projects for different organizations. A big part of this is making sure everyone is happy and staying in line. I've helped answer questions here and there, mostly through PMs but I've answered questions through forums before as well. I think I know mostly everything about Oekaki, I started using it a few months ago and now use it regularly and I'm still learning new things about it, but at this point I feel quite comfortable with it and I've also helped others with it (for example, helping them make transparent backgrounds). Since i've been on here for nearly two years, I've become pretty familiar with all the rules as well as the inner workings and settings. I'm not a trade expert, but I frequently consult threads to make sure trades are fair and have learned a ton by doing so. I think I'm pretty decent and accurate when it comes to judging trades.

Why do you want to be a General Helper? I would like to be a general helper because since I've joined this site I've continued to love it and a big reason is because of the wonderful users! I would love to be able to help new users experience CS like I have so that they can also come to love it as much as I do. I started coming to this website because my little sister wanted something for us to do together while I was away at school. At first I did it just for her, but now I'm just as passionate as she is and can see myself coming back for a long time. It has completely opened me to a whole new kind of art and allowed me to dabble in digital art myself! I hope to be able to help others get to know the site and see all it's amazing possibilities so they can experience it to the fullest. I would love to be a gen helper because I love helping people and answering questions! I often read the posts in the help/suggestions forum and have occasionally responded to help others. I have also used and responded to users on threads such as the Fair Trade Thread and the Art Pricing thread. I don't mind getting random PMs from users and have gotten many in the past either asking a question or just wanting to chat. As I said before, I'm a firm believer in always trying to be as kind and compassionate as possible when responding to trades or messages. I've been chewed out in the past because of a trade I didn't know was unfair and I vowed since then to always give people the benefit of the doubt. I'm a pretty calm and relaxed person and I can usually see both sides to an argument and I also think i'm pretty unbiased and able to accurately judge a situation. I think I could be a fair, honest, friendly, encouraging, warm, and open Gen Helper and would very much love this opportunity! Thanks for considering me! Good luck to all the other applicants!

The amount of hours I spend usually on chickensmoothie, is about five to eight hours depending on school. During school, it will be about five hours, but I usually get more time on than I think so logically it`s about seven hours a day, I believe c:

Well for languages, I know a bit of spanish or considered 'rusty', I`m not sure if it will be completely useful, but I can understand quite a bit. I wouldn`t necessarily considered myself as a 'pro' at the trade-value, but I can figure out which is fair and unfair, pretty much the basics of the trading value. I admit I don`t answer a lot of questions on the forum because I don`t really browse there most of the time, but if I got a General Helper spot, I most definitely will c: Also, I use oekaki a lot so I very much know how the tools and options work, on the program.

6.Why do you want to be a General Helper?

Of course, like a lot of people, I`d love to help out others on chickensmoothie. I`d tried out the last time when the site was in need of a General Helper`s, and I believe I was still a bit inexperienced at this site before, but I`m quite experienced and know most things on this site, if I don`t say so myself. I`m also a Moderator/Writer on a thread on here which is called 'Adopt a-Bean' for inexperienced people who need help with trying out for a Jellybean Dragon, which has become a quite known species on here, I believe. I was also thinking about becoming an 'adopter' of someone in need on the thread, just so I could do more of my part on there c: I`ve all ways liked to help out others, and I seem to all ways be even-tempered in a situation but take it quite seriously, and try to explain or help out the easiest way possible for everyone included. Also, when I recieve a private message about a question and such, I answer fairly quickly when I`m online of course, and answer it in a easy way for someone to understand, since I`m one of many big words, so I keep it to a minimum when using my large vocabulary. I would considered that I`m best at roleplaying advice and or help, also with oekaki as well. I`m happy that I`m being considered for the job, and wish everyone else trying good luck as well c:

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) [i]I know the site quite well due to my own searchings, so I believe I would be good with navigations, trading issues, and several other things.

Why do you want to be a General Helper? I love to help others when they are confused; I deeply respect how others help one another in their time of need. I wish to become someone who others know they can come to if they are troubled with something. I want to help people who are new to this site, or even users who have been here for quite a while. My goal is to help EVERYONE.

(By the way, I was given a warning point of art theft a few months ago, and I still have the point...but it was because I was on an art thread and was posting reference pictures. I didn't know who owned the picture of the second character; I was giving an example of what I wanted her to look like. The other I said was owned by one of my friends on here, so I do not understand why I was given the point, but I understand if I am not accepted because of this. c:)

Truthfully, I love helping people, I know it sounds cliche and fake, but its honest. Being a help to people is something I have always loved to do, as I am not very good at it in real life, I am better at reasuring and helping people online. I like helping the new people on here, when they are confused or don't understand something, it makes me feel better when I help them out. I'm not the best with rarities, but I know the rare list, whats mostly fair, ect. Me being still fairly young, I can go on much more than some others, and I can't stand not being able to help when I can.

Saturday: All Day, most likely log off at 7 PM PST.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required):

I speak Vietnamese, but I haven't seen alot of other users that also speak Viet but.. there's a skill that I
somewhat can help with. I usually pop up in the Art area, in Art Shops and User-Made Adoptables, I run
my own and help out with a few other places as well in User-Made Adopts. I generally know knowledge of
what to price art, I tend to give out advice at the "Need Help Pricing Artwork?" thread and sometimes I
pop up at that 'Artist Army'. I mod in a few threads and get gold stars for dealing with people in a kind
manner. I am usually helping in the world of art and coding. Oh! I knew I forgot something! I am a really
good thread coder for making a thread. From layout to text~ But I'm not sure if anyone would need help
with it but I am here to help on that stuff! I am also pretty witty and give out lame jokes and we all
know that we need those on a daily basis. I know of some oekaki tools but I don't use it often as well.

I also am pretty calm during hectic situations. As some staff members know, I have helped a friend on
CS try to avoid his ex-girlfriend on here, under very severe circumstances. And I helped calm him down
and help him out of his situation and give him all the support I can during that situation. I believe that
I can do the same for anyone else and give them advice and help on anything they'd need to talk about
or some of their worries. I think I am a good listener and I really do love giving helpful advice and just
talk to people. I am patient as well (despite having a younger brother aaaah), but if I do hit a point of
getting tired of something, I would ask another staff member to help someone if that happens UuU

Why do you want to be a General Helper?:
I really love helping people with questions and helping out in general. I know that I really appreciate any
help I get from other people, CS Staff or not, and I'd also like to help other people as well. I've been
around for awhile now and I think I just can help out and give back to CS! I hope I can help in any way I

I help out my friends that also have chicken smoothie accounts and they told me that chicken smoothie is hiring people to help. I didn't think it was a good idea for me to help out at first because i didn't think i was any good at it, but my friends said i was and they really thought i should try to get hired. So I'm hoping I do, hopefully this goes well

2. How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 528, though I'm not sure how many of those aren't bumps and count as actual posts unfortunately. I've been meaning to remedy this though, I've just always felt small in the big pool of Chicken Smoothie members and haven't been brave enough to put myself out there. I think being a Helper would help me with this because I would feel a little more included in the community and people would be a little more welcoming. I've been here for almost two years so my number of posts isn't for lack of time here, I'm just trying to find my place in such a big community.
   
3. How many days a week do you usually visit CS? Seven. c: I'm on every day and if I can't get on from my computer I at least check in on my phone. My e-mail is also linked to my phone so I know immediately when I get a PM or a response to tracked topics even if I'm not at my computer.
   
4. How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? Oh gosh. Too many probably. 6-7 hours a day minimum. I stay up very late on Chicken Smoothie since I only have classes two days a week and if I don't have something to do on a particular day I may be on from the time I wake up to the time I fall asleep.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) I'll just use the examples you provided and answer them first. c: I do know basic French, not well enough to speak myself but well enough to understand what is being said to me. I also know some Spanish and can understand basic sentences and several nouns. As for peer mediation I am one of five moderators on Wolf-Haven.com and have been for a while now. It's our job to mediate and I do it often, especially on chat. c: This also means I have experience with an automated help system, though we call them support tickets on W-H. I am not very good with rarities so I wouldn't be much help with knowing how fair a trade is unfortunately. Hopefully being more active in the forums will help me understand how much a pet is really worth, taking into account demand and date. The current General Helpers usually beat me to it, actually. Though I do visit the Suggestions and Problems board sometimes to see if there are things I can help with that haven't been answered. I know how to work everything on Chicken Smoothie, the oekaki included. c: I can explain how everything I can think of works CS. I'd also love to have an excuse to respond to people on the Introduction board. I always felt silly when I went to respond to an intro before but as a General Helper I would be expected to respond. c: I've never had any sort of altercation with someone on CS and I understand that I need to handle problems calmly otherwise they will just escalate. I'm also used to explaining things over and over and over not only because I have to do it as a Mod but because I have younger siblings. xD
   
6. Why do you want to be a General Helper? Because I love the feeling you get when you know you've helped someone. If I didn't have a nearly impossible pet goal I would gift people all the time just to make them happy. It bothers me a great deal that I lack ways of helping people with their pet goals here so if I could help them with everything else I would feel much better. c: I also adore CS and love spending time here and to feel like a bigger part of the community would be great.

Just to let you know, I live in Europe, I am not sure exacrtly what GMT that is but I tend to be on for an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening. So for me, 6 and 4 O'clock.

As a few natural abilities to bring to the table, I can speak Italian fluently and I speak French, though not as a born language, I have been taking it for 7 years and am fairly fluent. I also speak limited Spanish (very limited). I am also a member of a large family and have learnt patience as a result of many years of younger siblings.
As just a few other points I would like to raise about my specialities I could bring to this job:
♠I am fairly well travelled and am aware and learnèd about many different types of culture and religion.
♠After joining this site, I grew rather attached to it and thanks to the help of other members and my own exploration, I am familiar with everything this site has to throw at me. I can work through most problems.
♠I am comfortable talking with good grammar and sharp points to help people get what I am saying in a friendly manor even if they don't know me.
♠I am good with the tools of oekaki even if art is not my strongsuit.
♠I have a good head for trade values though admittedly I have sent a few stupid trades in my time.
♠I am slow to anger and eager to answer questions.


Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I would like to be a helper because I enjoy helping others. It gives me joy to give others the wisdom they deserve to improve their Chicken Smoothie experience. I like having the ability to lend others my own knowledge and earn the respect of them. I remember since I started, though they are an artist, I have admired Malk - I just found her incredible for some reason and it would be my dream to have others look to me as I do to the staff here. Obviously I am not near you guys, but just to have that little bit of trust to help others to my best abilities.
