Polaris
I continue to rest easy. No bad dreams no uncomfortablity. Perfect, blissful sleep. But about an hour later, I wake up. Pain radiates through my back. I can't lay down in any comfotable way. "Ughhh..." I sigh in pain and lay there.

Okan
I wlak into the den with a dead rabbit and rop at Polaris's paws."Eat this you need your strength to give birth to our pups".i say licking her gently."Just keep calm".i say over my shoulder and head out into the rain and sit by the cave enterance.

Polaris
I sit up and begin to eat the rabbit. Eventually I finish and lie back down and sleep peacfully.

Okan
In the morning I head out to hunt. I manage to catch 2 rabbits and a few ducks. I bring them abck home and equal it out but give Polaris abit more."Don't eat it all now , save some for later".I say and stash mine in the corner.

Polaris
"Okay." I eat a small duck and walk out of the den and sit in the rain. I walk out in a mud pile and just sit there. I play in the mud a little and gesture for Okan to come out with me with a welcoming smile and a soft paw. I always played in the mud when I was little. And now, I just have an urge to act like a child again.

Okan
I yawn and get up to join her. I splash her with a bit of mud in her face and laugh and play in the slight rain down pour away frmo the camp it was more quite but Hunger and Coral would come with there now fully grown daughters to check on us every now and then.

Polaris
Hunger walks over with Coral. The girls stayed back this time. The two together looked concerned. What could be wrong? Everything seemed so perfect. Questions begin to flow to my mind.

Hunger
I gesture to Coral to go back with the pups."Okan , Polaris , theres been bad hunting and I'll be needing to take Okan with me to go hunting with you to catch alot of prey and bring it back , scince it is winter there is less prey and we have sent out some hunting parties only yo catch a few mouthfuls of prey on the eastside of the river were there use to be plently , can you help me on the western side while Coral looks after Polaris if she starts to give birth?".i ask with a plead.

Okan
I look at Polaris and shrug."If you say so , I'll go with you to help what is important about the littlest parts of life , I just wwould like to help you out with the hunting for awile an dthen come back".I say getting up and shaking the mud off of my pelt.

Coral
I come back and look at Polaris."Come on Polaris , you need to rest now , I'll be here with you".i say and lead her into the den.

I follow Coral and look back at Okan. I wave goodbye with a loving paw. I continue into the den and lie down.

(A few hours later)

Okan
We return with much fresh kill and bring it into the camps shelter and bring some smaller prey for me and Polaris.

Coral
I look outside and growl at Okan."She's close I can't let you in yet".I say.
