Every day. Unless I'm on vacation,in which it would be three to five days.

Usually around 5-6 hours with no school. With school,at most around three to four hours,at least one hour.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required):
I can speak some German,a small amount of French,and a decent amount of spanish. I am constantly reading the pet rarity boards and the help wiki,and I know each and every tool of the oekaki,even by name.
Why do you want to be a General Helper?:
I always love to help users on CS,and I barely ever get into fights. When I do,they are just tiny arguments through PM that are quickly sorted out.

Why do you want to be a General Helper? Because I think it would be really fun to help other people who look up to you for knowledge on CS.

I am on CS everyday. c: Unless I am on vacation, but I usually bring my laptop and, so long as I have internet connection, I still try to go on everyday.

As I said before, I spend everyday on CS and the amount of time I spend on here ranges greatly. I spend a minimum of 3-5 hours a day on CS while the maximum can be in the 7-10 hour range. n_n

5.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position
I speak fluent English and Finnish and have taken 2 years of Spanish. Therefore, knowing those three languages, I hope to better communicate and otherwise help other members. I was a peer mediator last year and I loved it, I am planning on becoming a peer mediator again this year. I loved being able to help others work out their problems and settle disputes, I've gained a lot from the experience and the feeling of helping out my fellow students is amazing! Last year, also, a group of my friends and I became greeters and helped welcome the new wave of students on orientation day and help direct them to their classes. We enjoyed being greeters so much, helping the new students transition smoothly and easily into the school, we are planning on doing that again this year too. I like to think that I am fairly knowledgeable when it comes to trade-values, having been on CS since 2008. I have a great deal of experience in Oekaki, I spend a great deal of time just doodling, sketching, and experimenting when I have time to kill. Because of that, I believe to know all about the different tools, options, and functions of Oekaki. I answer PMs promptly and have helped out other members in the past through PMs. When I answer questions, I'm always sure to explain and answer the question to the best of my ability, I answer the question thoroughly but also clearly.

6.Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I love and take great joy out of helping people, it gives me great feeling to know that I had just helped and made another member's experience more fun and enjoyable. Being able to take my years of experience on CS and using that to help others is something I love doing. I am always prepared and ready to help out and answer other member's questions, no matter how many times it has been asked and regardless of the color of my username. ^-^

3.How many days a week do you usually visit CS?: 4 or 5, sometimes more but occasionally less.
4.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? Since I have an iPhone, I'm usually on and off for most of the day.
5.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position? Since I've been on the site for a little over two years now, I know my way around pretty well. I'm a patient person, and I feel this will give me a boost when lending an ear, so to speak, to new players that require assistance. I'm also well-versed with the coding used when posting, and I will also be able to help new players learn about this.
6.Why do you want to be a General Helper? I want to be a GH because I absolutely love helping people. We've all been new to CS at some point, and I feel that lending a hand to new players will allow me to give back to the CS community. Having a new player understand something because I've helped them can lead to a sense of satisfaction that can compare to nothing else, and I would love to have the opportunity to make someone feel a little more welcome or help ease the feeling of intimidation or confusion that can come with being new.

I have made 3.455 posts in all as of this post. A lot of them are on the trade rant thread, newbie posts, ex-wishlist bombing, and role-playing. I also do one or two 1x1's. Some of my posts have been on the 'How Much Is It Worth In C$?" and the "How Much Is It Worth?" thread, and I try to answer people's questions when asked.



3.How many days a week do you usually visit CS?

I get on every single day, excluding family visits, some vacations, and some other things like school that just get in the way. I often see my friend online, and sometimes I go to her house. Oftentimes we will sit in front of the computer and stay on Chicken Smoothie for hours at a time, talking and trading.



4.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?

Gee, that would have to be about 3-4 and sometimes on a calm day even 5 hours. I trade, rant, and help people when asked. Like I said above, me and my friend chat and trade with each other and other members of Chicken Smoothie.

I am about to take a basic Spanish class in school for half a school year-there I will learn all the basic phrases and sayings. My sister speaks and reads fluent Spanish, so she could help me fill in the gaps of people's posts on here. Also, my cousin-who I could phone at any time-went to Japan for a year, and can read, type, and speak fluent Japanese. I doubt we have a lot of Japanese players here, but hey-on Chicken Smoothie, be ready for anything :3
I have not had any experience in peer meditation, though it sounds like an interesting class. I might take it.
I do concider myself a trade-value expert, as I know what a fair trade it and-with the new rarities, it makes things a lot easier. I help my friends with trading, and am currently about to teach her what the Rares List is. I've trained a lot of my friends who I reccomended Chicken Smoothie to how to be a fair trader, and now they're proud Chicken Smoothie members. I also know what the Rares List, Septembers, and Advent list is. I haven't memorized all of the pets yet-just have a general idea-but if I saw a pet from any of the lists, I'd probably recognize it.
I do answer a lot of questions on the forum, in my opinion. I tell people when a trade is fair (but always ask for a second opinion), and offer my opinon on things when asked. I'm not very known here on Chicken Smoothie, however, so I'm trying to get known so I may be able to get something like this! :3 I truely want to help people here on Chicken Smoothie, and this could be my big break.



6.Why do you want to be a General Helper?

I want to be a General Helper because I've always wanted to have my name colored. Even when I first joined, I thought Man, how can I get my name like that? I learned later that only mods and owners had colors, and I was just a member. So I just now found this, and this could be my chance to become a pretty colored usernamed member of the site called Chicken Smoothie.
I've always answered questions when directly or vaguely been asked. I type fast, and give people quick answers when they need them. I think I'm a reliable person, and have suggested 5-6 people Chicken Smoothie, and they all love the site. Some of their usernames are-

and that's just a few of them. I joined the "Adopt a Newbie!" forum, and now have a little newbie buddy who actually pm'ed me! who wanted to chat, and I offered to be their partner. So far I've taught them how to post a trade and let other people see it, they're getting good at it. Once they want to know, I'll teach them the Rares List. I know its a big ambition, but I think teaching our young ones about things will be good.

I usually visit everyday if i can.But when school starts i wont be on as much so please keep that in mind.But i will still visit everyday.

Usually for 12 hours or more.
5. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position
Well i do help ppl around CS if they need help,i make signatures for others,i currently own 2 sites one of them is not so active but the other one is.I am a semi-lit role player and i just love helping others out around Cs,telling them whats not so good of a trade etc.I know every rule of CS and know all the things like making a siggy,trade setting,posting and all the general things that you were looking for in the first place.I am also a artist i guess you can say,not a LA artist but can draw some scenery and back ground images suck as starry nights etc. I also can colour in LA so i think this is enough for you to learn basics i really dont swear either on CS i think its really not mature to because there is little kids on this site and that is not good for young children. I also love doing custom siggy's for people,im also great at coding etc.And i love working with young children and sometimes and most of the time children of all ages I still help people around CS sometimes they even PM for help ^^ and i give it to them.
6. Why do you want to be a General Helper?
Well you see ever since i joined CS i wanted to be a mod etc. and help others out.I always am active and bring great things to Cs for a general helper.Im fine with any decision that you make i am very fine with anything that you give me or nothing at all.My dream was just to do this and even just applying makes me happy to know i have a chance.Thank you Tess & Nick and other mods for letting us have this opportunity to be a general helper and lets us help around your site ^^

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position: I consider myself to be pretty up to date on my trade value knowledge, and I enjoy answering others' questions and helping them.
Why do you want to be a General Helper?: I want to be a general helper because I like knowing that I'm helping to help others with their CS experience. I can remember how it felt to not know what to do on the site, and, for that reason, I'd really like to be able to help other members when they're feeling like that. I know that it can be scary to message a moderator, so I'd like to be there for them to message if they need to. I'm more than happy to continuously explain things to people, because I like to consider myself a fairly patient person. I know the rules of CS, and know how to edit profiles, signatures, trade settings etc. I have a vast knowledge of solutions to technical, HTML and personal problems. Although young, I woould enjoy the opportunity to guide others through their issues.

Well, I've always adored the way the Mods have helped people, and I have always loved helping people. I am as active on CS as much as I possibly can, and I think twice before posting something, for I could affend someone. I've always wanted to be a teacher someday, so till then this is the closest I can get to being one. Alot of people (mostly my friends) ask me for help sometimes also.

At least an hour or two. I check it every morning and every night at least, but usually have the tab open as long as my computer is on. So it ranges from 1-8 hours a day.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
I speak a (very) small amount of French, and I was/am often used for peer mediating or showing new kids around at school. I've joined the 'Adopt a Newbie' and have one that I'm helping currently. I'm pretty patient, and after being a math tutor for a seven-year-old, I've learned how to stay cool and explain things multiple times without complaint. Also, I know essentially everything there is to know about the forums, editing your profile, wishlists, pets, rarities, all that stuff. I'm not the best with all of the oekaki tools, but other than that, I probably know how to do it.
Why do you want to be a General Helper?
When I joined CS, there were no such thing as General Helpers. It was just Admin, Global Mods, and the CS Staff. And as nice as I know those people are now, it's a little bit intimidating not having someone directly assigned for helping people. I basically had to figure everything out myself because I was nervous about PMing one of the other Staff. Having someone with the word 'Helper' in their name makes it less awkward-feeling to PM them since it's clearly their job. And I think it would be nice to be one of the people that new members, or old members who are figuring out the new features, go to.
