@Rainbow Dash: If that was an essay, then I post an essay 50% of the time I post. I actually really enjoyed reading what you (and everyone else) thought of the whole deal. And yes, I would have to agree disabled Scoots is kind of a new head cannon for me. I think it would give her more character depth, because right now, in my opinion, she's shallow and stereotyped. We just haven't see enough of her without the rest of her group to get an in depth look at her. A shame, really, because her character does have lots of potential.

About the Derpy Thing
You have to understand this.They had to change it, just to kinda keep the haters at bay. I would rather have the Fandom living on, and the show still airing instead of the fandom booming and no show to really base it on anymore.
