3.How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
I visit CS every day of the week. I couldn’t go a day without it, even when I’m on vacation I make sure that the hotel I’m staying at has WiFi and still go on CS a fair amount.

4.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
As it is currently the Summer, I am on CS for around five to ten hours a day though during the school year I may be on for around only two to five hours a day on week days and maybe four to seven hours a day on weekends.

5.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example do you speak any other languages, or have you had any experience in peer mediation? Do you consider yourself a trade-value expert? Do you already answer a lot of questions in the forum? Do you know how all the tools/options in the oekaki work?)
I know a small amount of Spanish though I’m not fluent, I am about to start my third year of classes (though I did take around three more years of Spanish at another school but the classes there weren’t nearly as helpful as the ones at my new school so I don’t exactly count them). I also know the Oekaki program on CS fairly well since I draw quite frequently and would be glad to help others with questions about that. I spend quite a lot of time trading and know the values of pets quite well and make many trades involving Rares List pets and would be glad to help newer members learn their rarities. I am usually good at calming people down when they are upset over something and I can promise that I will remain calm and rational even if a member becomes frustrating and is harsh toward me. Since I spend so much time on this site I know all the basics to help other members with (all the profile settings, how to use Oekaki and some tips on how to draw best there, a lot about trades, what topics go in what sections, what's spam and what isn't etc.)

6.Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I joined CS only a little over a year ago but this place has become a home for me. The CS community has already given me so much and I in turn would like to give back even more. For months now it has been my dream to become a General Helper as I’ve already received practically all of the pets that I had once seen as dreams and worked for months to get, now would like to help other members get used to the site and achieve their dreams. I still remember being new here and making that first post in the Introductions section, I had no idea what this site was about and honestly didn’t expect to become so addicted to it. It was hard being new, I felt a bit excluded and it took me a while to learn how rarities worked and I do remember sending out many unfair trades and being confused when others got upset at me since I had thought they seemed at least close to fair. I want to help members get passed that stage, I want them to actually feel welcome here and not be worried about angering an older user with a trade they’ve sent.
When I first joined CS a very kind user sent me a gift of four pets from years before I had joined. I didn’t understand why they were giving them to me at first since I had never received a gift before on a site like this but thanked them very much and it really helped me start off my CS collection. Since that day, I’ve been completely and utterly hooked to CS and I would like to help other users start off on CS and learn what a truly wonderful community this is.
The staff on this site is different than the others I’ve been on. Everyone is so kind and actually attentive to the needs of members even though the site is so very large. I would like to help out and try to make it so there isn't as much work for the staff members to take care of on this site seeing as they're already very busy. I visited Anthrocon this year and got to meet so many nice members and see the faces behind the profiles on here. Each member on here is a person and I won’t forget that, I want to make sure everyone realizes the importance of this site and enjoys it as much as they can and knows that there are other people here who want to help them.
I often browse the Suggestions and Problems section of the forum though I admit I don’t reply as often as I should but I will try to reply to more of the questions when I know the answer and it doesn’t bother me at all to read through hundreds of questions about the site, I actually find it interesting and like helping out from time to time.
I used to post more on the "'Is this a fair trade?' Thread" than I do now but I still like to help out there and post often and can easily answer a fair amount of the questions asked there. I do like helping out there and sometimes since there are so many wrong answers given out there it seems that there should be more experienced members helping out on that thread and I would be very willing to help out even more than I am now.
When I first starting using the Oekaki program, I honestly had no idea what I was doing. I didn’t know how to use layers; I didn’t even know what lock alpha was or why it was important. Over time I learned how to use the problem pretty well from guides, helpful users and just testing out the program. I would be glad to teach newer users all the basics of Oekaki so they can actually know how to use the program properly instead of being very confused about it as I was when I first joined.
I sometimes receive PMs asking me about aspects of the site or whether trades are fair or not and I always answer these to the best of my abilities and I’d love to receive more of these PMs. It makes me happy to know that I’ve helped someone learn more about CS and become more comfortable with this amazing site.
I also applied to help a new member on the “Adopt a Newbie” topic and was a bit disappointed when the member that I was assigned didn’t want very much help from me. I still tried to provide them with the information needed to start off on this site and made sure to answer any questions that they had. I would love to try introducing many newer members to the site and while some may not want my help, it would really reassure me to work with the ones that do to help them learn more and more about CS.
Now I realize that I can help members here just as much without the title of General Helper but I think they would be more eager to receive my help and trust my advice more if I was one. I admit it would make me feel quite good to be chosen as a General Helper partially because I would feel like my presence on CS meant more and I’d feel more obligated to answer more questions and such but also I would just like people here to trust me and feel free to PM me about any concerns they have whenever. I don’t get as many PMs asking for help as I’d like. I also read the part of the post that says I’d have a small amount of access to the Help System section and I would love to have that ability since I’d be able to see if there were more problems outside of the Suggestions and Problems section of the forum that I would be able to help with.

•How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?: If I am on my laptop, I am on ChickenSmoothie. Even just during school, I use my laptop quite often to research/take notes/write papers ect., I have a tab open for just ChickenSmoothie, to check on trades, reply to messages, reply on forums, and all that wonderful stuff. So I'm on at the least, 8 hours a day. Pretty dedicated.

After being here a while, I've gotten pretty good at the value of trades, posting and messaging, editing signatures and post, and answering general questions. I've recently grasped how to add details and things like that in Oekaki, so explaining things like that is pretty easy for me. I'll also be going into my third year Spanish, so once I brush up on things again, I should be able to help out with members, who have Spanish as their first language. When it comes to helping new users and answering questions, I'm pretty good at it. I explain things pretty basically, I think it was last month I had a new user message me on how to trade right. I gave him the basics on how to trade, rarity's, and gave him some helpful links like "Is this a fair trade?", "What is this pet worth?", and "The Rares List." By now he should have some rares if he followed the instructions! And I've had about three or four people come to me now for help with posting and decorating forms. I love decorating forms. I've answered questions from time to time, greeted newbies, and helped out with pets. I'm experienced in all the fields, and would love to help out.

•Why do you want to be a General Helper?: I actually really love helping others out. I think I get it from debate. I'm a varsity Policy Debater at my school, and I'm what we call a "parent". And just like here with general helpers, I help out my novice babies to understand more about debate. It feels great knowing that you helped coached that novice that won debate rounds, and I guess that's why I love helping out here. When I joined, I got no help at all. I had to learn things all on my own, and it was so stressful, that for about 2-3 months I just went thought a dead period where I didn't enjoy being on ChickenSmoothie. But I got through it, and when summer came that year, I hunkered down and learned as much I could, I wanted to be successful on ChickenSmoothie and enjoy it. Now I love it, and love passing on my knowledge to others, so they can have fun here too and not be tempted to quit like I was. I learned things first hand when It came to, well, everything. I had to look up a video on YouTube on how to use Oekaki because I was to shy to ask for help. Nearly everyone was intimidating, but I don't want that for other users. I want them to be able to ask questions without feeling like a pest or looking stupid like I did. I want to be a general helper, because I just like helping people, and want them to enjoy it here. ChickenSmoothie is really fun! When you have help to get you through it. I'm very patient and understanding when it come to those question that just seem like broken records, you hear them over and over, and over. Things do get frustrating, but I know to bite my tongue and just help, they don't know any better, or maybe they do and just don't like reading rules, but no big deal. I know others have opinions and all that crazy stuff, but I haven't and never will let that get in the way of helping. I just want to be a general helper, because it's fun for me to help out others.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS? I'm certainly on six days a week; sometimes seven if I'm not busy.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? I visit almost every day. I'm online at the minimum of seven hours, and at the most, 14.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?: I'm quite good with the Oekaki; I know a lot about it and how it works and usually answer a question when I see one. I speak French and fluently in English; some Japanese at that too. I'm reletively calm most of the time, and have been a Moderator and Administrator for many sites, more to come. I am also very good at Spelling/Grammar, as well. I try to visit the "Suggestions and Help" Board to answer many questions ChickenSmoothie users ask; as well as introduce them to ChickenSmoothie on the "Introduction" Forum. I like searching about for questions and such; and I also like to answer questions that someone will usually PM me. I am very mature when it comes to a question and I also know how to answer questions in a mature manner at that too.

Why do you want to be a General Helper? Well, I've always wanted to be a General Helper; because I generally love helping people. This has been one of my favorite things to do, answer questions, and help people out. I do a lot of helping in real life; too. I babysit a lot and tutor as well. I am a nice; respectful person that dislikes the thought of breaking the rules. I can be strict at times, but only when needed to.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? On days without school, 8+. During school, I would say 2/3+.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position I speak a little bit of spanish, I can understand most of it. I also consider myself an "oekaki expert" just because I've made over 800 drawings and I use it every day. I also enjoy giving sensible advice to friends. I try to think rationally and speak thoughtfully in everything that I do.
Why do you want to be a General Helper? I am a huge fan of Chicken Smoothie and I would like to do whatever I can to help it grow. It's such a unique place. I would love the chance to help keep new users informed of the rules and such so CS can be at its best 100% of the time.

I would try my best to be committed to the job and I understand that there may be others more qualified for the job than I. I just want to say thank you to Tess and Nick for giving us this chance and this awesome website. :>

I just wanted to note also that I did get 1 board warning. It was from an art thefted drawing I'd done in 2010 (edit; it was in early 2011) of a Pokemon where I'd copied a picture from Google. The warning was just dealt this year. Since then I've learned the proper referencing techniques and I haven't and won't ever do it again.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS? About mostly everyday, if not on the computer on my i pod or phone, and yes i can post on it.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? Well to be close to exact, about 2-3 hours, about one in the morning and another hour in the late afternoon.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position? Well yes i do have some things i have that might help others, i know what all these rules for the site.I have read the Oekaki rules, lets see i know some things about trading, even though that is one of my weak spots.I do know when trades are fair.I talk about three languages, English, Spanish, and some French. I do know a lot of rules CS. Probably most of my skills i do.
Also my sister know a lot more French than me, so she can also teach more things to interact other people from different countries.I do most role-plays they are mostly all Semi-literate, and i will always check the new role-plays to join, and i can help out if i see any problems.
Why do you want to be a General Helper? Well i do love helping others, when in need of help, like in the requirements, it did say to visit the introduction, i would love too if i get this, since i love to meet new people. I am very friendly.Also i think this would be a very great opportunity for me to help others in need of help.    It ranges anywhere from 1 hour at the very minimum to a whole day. Its usually around 5 to 7 hours a day. Though High School is starting very soon and it may be limited to 4 hours? Im not very sure about that yet.

   I speak a bit of Spanish, I took one year of Spanish. If people need someone helpful to talk to about problems, real life or computer, I can try my best. Im on the computer a lot so I understand how to do a lot of things. And Ive had my fair of drama and real life problems- and I enjoy trying to help others, as cheesy as that might sound. c: Im pretty fair at trading, but I usually trade items. I do a lot of pet trading too- just prefer item trades. I try my hardest to find unanswered questions in the Problem and Suggested forum area, but a lot of posts already have answers! But yes- I do look often and if I were to become a General Helper I would set it as my home page for when I go on the internet. :33 About Oekaki, I have over 100 drawings- so of course Im pretty literate about how Oekaki works. I'd be more than willing to help someone with it- and I have join.me downloaded on my computer so I could invite people to that any time to show them how to do something.    I would adore being a General Helper because I love to help others but dont usually get the chance. I already have several friends at school who have issues with real life problems and computer problems, and Ive gotten a bunch of them to join CS, even gotten one addicted. c: I'd encourage others to join the site, too. I also consider myself old enough to deal with problems in a calm way- since I have before, and I usually just ignore the person or really try to work it out with them when we are fighting. Another reason Id like to be a General Helper is that I could tell people nicely that they did something wrong hopefully without them blowing up in my face. I understand that some people would dislike others because they had gotten to be something that didnt, but Ill deal with it if I do get the position. Annnoootthhherrr reason Id like to be a General Helper is because Ive wanted to be active as not just a member on this site since I joined, and this is one of the fields that does not require an age. Thankfully! C: I also want to be a General Helper because it would motivate me to do more and more good things around CS, and motivate me to never get a warning- since I havent had one yet! I think the combined total of hours I visit CS is around 5 to 7 hours. Although when college/work starts, this may be reduced to 3 to 5 hours a day.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
I speak/write fluent Dutch, as it's my native language. I have decent art skills and knowledge on art programmes so I'll be able to help people with art and oekaki related questions. I would have no issues with helping people set up an art/adoptable shop or generally just give advice on these matters. I also lead and moderate the Artist Army, although that's really a community effort so I can't take much credit for that. I followed multimedia techniques at my school for three years (and graduated) so I can even help with HTML, CSS, PHP and other computer languages if this is ever needed. Haha.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I love answering questions and guiding people, I really do. I don't mind answering PMs of random people that seem lost or confused. And I'll surely make an effort to be far more active on the other forums too. I lurk around the oekaki a lot and answer questions there, but it's just a small step to applying this to all boards. I've been trying to find a reason and a way to be more active on CS, to be a useful member of the community and this seems like the perfect opportunity. Even if I don't know something right away, I really don't mind to simply look it up. I also don't mind taking screenshots or even making small tutorials on certain things if that helps people. In general, I just want to be a more useful part of the community as well as help new and struggling artists. CS is a beautiful place for art and artists, so I'd really love helping in that part of the community especially.
