I joined on December 13th, 2012. Today is the eighth month I have been on here, so hopefully this application will count.

2.How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply)
I have made 1,975 posts to this minute.

3.How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
I am on usually everyday. I have been having internet problems on the weekends, but still managed to get on. Sometimes I am not on at all due to being grounded for spending so much time on here or I can't access the internet from my campgrounds or home.

4.How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
I'm usually on CS for about 4 or more hours a day. I do get off once in a while to do tasks but I get back on wether it be on my PC, laptop, or DSi.

5.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example do you speak any other languages, or have you had any experience in peer mediation? Do you consider yourself a trade-value expert? Do you already answer a lot of questions in the forum? Do you know how all the tools/options in the oekaki work?)
I do know German and the tiniest bit of French and Japanese. I'm always learning German from my mom and French from a book I have. I am learning quite a few different words in many other languages too, but am not very good at those. I'm very good at how to trade. Like editing or fair trades. The basics of trading plus considering demand. I answer quite a few questions if they aren't answered before I do. I know a lot of things about Chicken Smoothie and how it operates. I know how everything works from adopting pets to drawing in the Oekaki.

6.Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I want to be a General Helper because I love helping people. I've helped people throughout my life. It seems like a fun and interesting thing to do. I help new members and even members that have been here before I have. I give them advice on trading or pets to help get them started. I feel as if it was my job in life to help whoever I could and this would be a great start. I want to make lots of people happy and make sure they are doing the right things. I know enough to inform people on whatever they need but I don't always know the answer. Being a General Helper is a dream of mine so I can help others who feel lost like I did my first few months. This is why I would love to be a General Helper!

During the summer, between 4 and 10. Once school starts, that number could go down slightly. I am home-schooled, however, and have access to a computer throughout most of the day.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position:
Although I don't use it, I do know a lot about the oekaki, I know some French and will be learning more(as well as being able to use Google translate if necessary), and I know a lot about coding. Although I don't know too much about pet rarities, I've lately been looking into it, so soon I should have some sort of grasp on it. I've been working with younger children and volunteering at a childcare service for most of my life, so I'm used to being around other people, especially kids and young teenagers.
Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I love to help people in general, and always have. Now that I've been on CS for a while, I'd love to give back to the community that helped me so much when I first joined, and I can't see a better way to do that than by joining the general helpers. I already try to help new people on CS through PMs and some forum posts, and I think it would be much easier if I became a general helper.

I have been studying French for 8 years and am going into my 9th year of studying it. I have also done programs with helping my peers. I also help new users,sometimes gift them,and take pride in welcoming them to CS. I have helped a lot of people with trade advice and answering questions. I also help people by pointing out threads which can be useful for them. I know all the tools in oekaki and have read the guide that someone has written many times.
6. Why do you want to be a General Helper?:
I want to be a general helper because I enjoy helping other people get used to CS and help make their experience better. I also help people and listen to their problems. Even if i don't get the position of general helper I will still welcome new users and help others. I also love to volunteer and since this is a volunteer position I thought I would try out for it. I also would like to contribute more to the wonderful community of CS. I would also be willing to spend alot of my free time answering Privite messages with the most information I can provide and if i cannot answer the question I would forward the message to the help system or ask one of my fellow General helpers. I am also a sweet person who has the patence to answer questions even if i have to repeat the same thing over and over again.
I would like to thank Tess,and all the other staff,for the ability to try out for one of the most well known and respected group on CS. Even if I don't get this position I will continue to help the users of CS with their problems.

On average I'd say about two to four.

5. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?:
Since I've been an active member of CS for a long time I know quite a bit about the oekaki, trading, editing my profile, coding, the forum, etc. So I'd be able to use that knowledge to help newer members learn the basics on CS.

6. Why do you want to be a General Helper?:
I'd like to be able to be useful in the CS world and help out the newer members (and older ones) to feel comfortable so they are able to enjoy CS to the fullest.

I registered on June 11th of 2011, but I was familiar with CS before through my older sister.

1610 posts total, about three posts per day.

I usually check on the site once every day, but there are times when I go on vacations and such and am inactive.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?

CS is usually on an open tab, but the times I spend browsing the forums are about, I assume, two to four hours a day when I am free.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example do you speak any other languages, or have you had any experience in peer mediation? I do enjoy helping others out, so most situations don't bother me, and I do my best to be unbiased when working out problems between others. I'm generally familiar with the art forums, especially when it comes to oekaki, and I believe I understand most of the tools, and where to direct others if I don't. I understand the basics of trade values as well, though my definition differs a tad bit from others. (For one, I do not value re-released pets any less than the original releases.)

Why do you want to be a General Helper?

Partially because of my sister, but mostly because I enjoy my time on CS and would like to help others feel the same. C:

On a non-weekday, I spend an average of three hours on Chickensmoothie; On a weekend, usually about five, more or less.

To be honest, I can't really think of anything to help me out here.~

I absolutely love helping others, and believe I am very skilled at doing so. Many of my peers at the school I attend ask me for help occasionally, mostly about things on their homework that they don't quite understand, but I'm helping, nonetheless! ^ ^

Well I've tried using the oekaki and I think I know it pretty well? I've answered some questions in the past, although I'd really love to help more! I know the answers to most CS questions, and if i don't i know how to search for the answer.


Why do you want to be a General Helper?
Well, the main reason is, I know what its like to be on sites where help isn't available, and its really awful and confusing, and I don't want anyone to have to feel that way on CS, so I'd like to help people as much as I possibly can. Many sites don't have a great help system like CS does, and I want to contribute as much as a can. I also love getting PM's and meeting new people, and when I help people or anything I just get this stupid grin on my face and its the best feeling in the world for me. Also, of course, I want to give back to the CS community for being so nice to me. I might not be the most helpful person around, but I will try the best I can!

How many days a week do you usually visit CS? I try to visit every day, but sometimes, due to vacation and school, I might miss a day here or there.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? Usually 2-3 on weekdays, more on the weekend.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position? I have been on CS for quite a while now, and I think I have a pretty good idea about how everything works on the site. I helped my cousin set up her account, and I've helped a couple other people set up signatures and such. If I know the answer to a question, I am usually more than happy to answer, and I am almost always patient with people, and I do my best to help others. Language wise, I'm mostly fluent in Spanish, but that probably won't make a difference. I don't use the Oekaki super often, but I do know how everything works.

Why do you want to be a General Helper? It gives me pleasure to help other people, and it would make me very happy to be able to help newer (and possibly older) members on CS. I've been helped by many people myself, especially when I first joined, and I would love to be able to help the same community. I would be more than willing to spend some of my free time helping members of CS, in any way that I can.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position:

I'm already doing most of the requirements of a General Helper. I receive PMs through the month on how to find a solution to a problem arranging from: How to manage trade groups to fixing simple profile editing. I use to welcome new members as well, but real life got in the way....truthfully I was forced away from CS while I was in school, because as soon as I found this site my grades slowly dropped. I was spending my Advanced Computer Classes on here. I'm out now so I've been trying to focus some time back here to help new members. Anyway, I can basically help with almost everything on CS except one thing and that would be the Oekaki. I've been here for close to 3 years( 2 years, 7 months, 2 weeks, and 6 days who's counting? >.<) and never really focused on the Oekaki.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?

I love helping out people on CS. The main reason why I'd like to be a General Helper is very simple: there's a lot of people that help out on here, but only a few that people can remember, I would like to be one of those. Not to gloat or any selfish reason like that. I just like to be someone people can come too for on or off the site information. It's easier to do that when you're a General Helper.
