What is this whole "Derpy" insident all you guys are talking about?

When Derpy was given a name and a voice in The Last Roundup, several fans were offended since they believed that "Derp" was a slur against handicapped people (It's not and never was) and that the whole presentation of Derpy was an affront to handicapped people. They raised a ginormous stink about it on the internet and it got really ugly (I've seen death threats and cussing at others from people who were offended to those who weren't and vice versa, moreso from the people who were offended.)

Ever since then, Derpy has never been identified by name in the show.

In "The Last Roundup", Derpy makes a brief speaking role while helping Rainbow Dash set up town hall. Derpy, being our favorite clumsy pegasus, manages to destroy town hall. Then, a huge controversy occured with angry fans thinking that Derpy was offensive towards the disabled people, and derpy's fans. Some even thought The Last Roundup was all about Derpy(this was the main reason Applejack didn't come back; she did not win any prize money to use towards the hall). Then, on iTunes, Derpy's voice was recast along with RD in that scene, and RD calls Derpy a "dumb blond pony" instead. Note that Derpy was given a blander voice and rainbow dash has a different voice.

And oh yes, and also what Rainbow Dash said as well ^^.
