  I get on CS as soon as I wake up [about 10am], and get off when I fall asleep [which is usually 2am], so 18 hours max, 9 hours min
  However, I start school on Friday the 17th, so from then on I will be on about 8 or 9 hours a day.
  
  
• Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
  
  I can speak a little Japanese, Spanish and German. However, I am not fluent. I can understand chat speak very well, and even those who's mother language is not English. I have had a lot or experience chatting/understanding those who do not fully know English in my past, and I believe it can be useful.
  At my school, there is always something going on with bullying and issues. My friends usually come to me when they need advice, help, or just need to vent. A few of my friends are highly emotional, so I am use to dealing with things of that sort. I have had many people ask me for relationship help, even though I have only been in one of my own.
  
  I babysit young children, so I am use to bad tempers and emotional situations. One of the children I babysit has a disease that affects his brain growth. He has a very short attention span, and quite an attitude. He forgets most anything within 5 or so minuets, cauing me to have to explain things to him more than once. My patience can last quite a wile, and I have no problem with explaining things multiple times in a row. I am usually very detailed when expaining something for easy understanding.
  
  I answer questions on the forums if I know my answer can be helpful in any way, shape or form. When I have free time, I usually hang around the introductions board or the CS Suggestions and Problems. Though I do not usually post, I read most of what is going on and see what the moderators, general helpers and regular players know about the issue so I can see if something of the same happens to me or anyone I know to see if I can be of any help to them.
  I do roleplay a lot, so that is another board I usually hang out around, and I can do up to literate roleplaying. I have explained to multiple people in the past how to, due to all of the semi-lit/lit roleplays that are created.
  
  Before my tablet broke and Java stopped working on my computer, I use to use Oekaki almost every time I drew, so I know what the tools/options do when in use. I also do know how to trade and most rarities, however I do not have everything memorised. I do not use the "Rares List" very often, nor do I hang around Auctions very much, so some rarities may be unknown to me. However, I do use the "Trade Rant Thread" so I know when a trade is fair or unfair.
  
  
• Why do you want to be a General Helper?
  
  I like helping people that are new to the site. Every now and again, I will PM a new member asking if they need any help, and try to be a friend of theirs, also giving them free pets to help them start off. If I can not help a new member, I will usually lead them to a forum that can help, or a general helper/mod. However, I have not recently done this.
  I usually do watch the General Helpers to see how they work and what decisions are best to take in each situation.
  
  I do remember when I first joined this site. I was very confused with everything, and understood nothing. I don't want any new players feel like that. I want to help them understand how to work the site and how to become an active member of CS. c:

Seven days a week. I will sometimes not be able to get on due to school related stuff, but I will try every day

Well, I am sort of obsessed with Chicken Smoothie, so about 6+ hours. (I don't have a problem! It is the normal amount a true CS member should be on)

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example do you speak any other languages, or have you had any experience in peer mediation? Do you consider yourself a trade-value expert? Do you already answer a lot of questions in the forum? Do you know how all the tools/options in the oekaki work?)
I know almost all of the oekaki tools/options, and I do answer some questions, but usually a helper beats me to most of them.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I would like to be a General Helper because I love to help people out! I want people to have as much fun on this website as I do, and not go through the confused stage. I usually browse different forums a lot, so I wouldn't need to start doing it. I would love to answer the questions and welcome new members to this site without them wondering who I am. I would love to be a general helper just so I can make other people happy. (<--- I want them to have that face)

How many days a week do you usually visit CS? Usually everyday, exception being if i'm on vacation

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? Usually i'm on for more about 5 hours if not more.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) I already help with newer people to the site and take it as my "job" to help those on Chicken smoothie that need it. I find myself quite often receiving questions from those who do need it and will often ask if i find someone who seems to be confused. I know the basics of the forums very well and am a very active role-player. I also know well how the trade system works and consider myself a trade "expert" for lack of better wording and help around there, although not quiet as much as i do on forums. Regrettably, i don't know the Oekaki as well as trading or the forums, i occasionally doodle on it but am still learning the just of the oekaki.

Why do you want to be a General Helper? When i first joined CS back in 2009 i found myself really confused about just about everything. I was definitely struggling and felt a little invisible about the whole thing {which is understandable for a new person} but i was a little bit too shy and awkward to ask any of the helpers for help. Now that i am very much more experienced i want to help all the people who feel lost and in need of help on the site.

How many posts have you made in the forum: I have currently made 12,541 posts.
How many days a week do you usually visit CS? I visit CS seven days a week.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? The time I spend on CS can vary greatly, going from about five hours to 10+ hours. I am constantly checking in to see if I've got any messages, or just to see what's new around the forums. Most of the day you will see me online, working on art and chatting in the forums and such, as well as trying to help keep order when things get out of hand.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?: I currently fluently speak German, French, and speak some Dutch and Spanish. In many cases I've had issues with friends, or even people I don't know, and have helped solve rivalry between them. In high school, I thought about majoring as a Phycologist, and even though I did switch to marine bio, I learned a lot in the classes I took about keeping order and resolving conflict. I also have a lot of experience in the Oekaki boards as well as trading experience. I am very used to trading and know my rarities very well. I am also an avid roleplayer, or more so was at one point, and know a lot about it. Lastly, I am a very level-headed person, who rarely gets angered and am very often calm and collected when I speak to people.
Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I always enjoy helping everywhere I can, or making people smile. It just brings joy to my heart. To be able to help others with my own knowledge would be a wonderful gift. I know some people just want the colored name, as they feel it 'applies power', but really, with this color change or not, I'm still going to be out there helping people, and doing what I can to change the CS community for the better.

I remember my first days here, confused and lost, and remember the kind people who first helped me get used to everything and taught me how everything works. Just the thought of their kindness warms my heart, and I'd like to give that feeling to others. I'd like for people to know that I am there to help, and becoming a General Helper would be a wonderful way to let them know.

I know my rarities and is a good trader, I know alot of things about the oekaki. I am very friendly, honest and patient and I respond to things quickly.
Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I just love to help out especially the younger or newer users, and make some new friends on here. I'm honest and mostly friendly and just want to help out around here.

{ plus I check the forums while I'm on my Nook or iPod quite often }

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?

I have lots of expirience with the Help & Suggestions part of the forum { and not just while applications are open, I read all the topics that I can, and post to help if I can }
I also have lots of expirience with leadership and dealing with upset users { upset art customers that had issues with art theft/payment/impatience }, and know when to just report a post and let a moderator with post deleting and warning powers to deal with it { I like to avoid getting dragged into fights, so if I know they can't be helped/stopped, I stand back }
I've moderated on a few sites { most have died, unfortunately }, but I'm also currently an artist on Chibifurs, an up and coming pet site where I both create pets and help moderate
I also deal with a wide range of users in my art shop, so I know how to deal with certain users over the others { some need a stern approach when they make a mistake, some just need positive re-enforcement regarding what they did right but a gentle push telling them them what was done wrong }
Most of the aspects of CS I'm involved in { art, RPing, I keep up as much as I can with rarities and the Rares List, I have had various topics in the free pets forum, I at one point also had a free art topic with adoptables in support of breast cancer { my old account partner and close real life friend's mother had, and luckily survived, breast cancer }}
I am expirienced with code, and know how to fix broken code { if I see it in a signature, I'll usually pm the user and offer to help fix it }
I'm very expirienced with Oekaki { I have over 550 orders in my Oekaki art shop } and have been asked many times for advice or critique
I may also add more later, I apparantly don't know that much about myself so it's hard to think of each intricate detail

Why do you want to be a general helper?

I've always wanted to be a part of this site, and have applied for every position I can when I can
even if I don't make the position, I'll still continue to help
users in the ways I know that I can, and I'll continue to learn more and more about the site so when the next oppurtunity comes, I will apply again

Probably around seven? I like to hang around here, just to read the posts and occasionally answer some questions through PM.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?

Well, I do rather well with younger people, or even some people that are older than me. I consider myself to be rather patient, and I don't mind answering questions multiple times. I know a lot about the trading system, rarities, and I can certainly help other users with coding posts, signatures, and even adding avatars. I also am an artist, so I know how the Oekaki works and most, if not all, the rules about art here. I wouldn't mind settling art disputes, either.

What date did you register as a CS member?: Stella joined December 24th, 2009, and Dot has been watching her since. But it's mostly Stella who's applying. ^.^
How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 1,197. Stella only started posting around the forums this February, but a lot of the times we like to keep to ourselves and just lurk around the forums.
How many days a week do you usually visit CS? Usually seven days a week, unless we're on vacation or have family business.
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? Four to five hours, possibly more.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position: We're great with kids. We babysit all of the time and volunteer at our local church and daycare, so we're very comfortable with them and have developed a lot patience with them. Stella loves writing and roleplaying, so she could be very helpful with new roleplayers (how to create a good roleplay, literacy, starting a story, etc.) She's also a whiz when it comes to BBcoding. Dot knows a good deal with trading, but both of us are stilling memorizing the rares list. We're both quite friendly and love making new friends, no matter how old they are.
Why do you want to be a General Helper? We love kids, and since this is a family-based site we would both love to be a general helper. The title would mean a lot to us, and it would give us a big deal of practice associating with people, which could help us with future jobs that we may apply to. We love helping people & answering their questions (makes us feel smart, heheh). When Stella came back from a hiatus, she was very confused with all of the new changes on the site and really appreciated when people answered her questions, and we want to repay the favor by helping other players. c:

Everyday, unless there is a family emergency or I have to do something important. School comes first, but I typically get on everyday.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
At least 3 hours on most weekends, less during the school week. However, I can do a lot of help in very little time.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position
I can know all of the basic tools on the oekaki, I have great people skills, and love helping people. I have split up fights on other websites a while ago. I like to talk, and have been helping people occasionally when I see that I can help.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I love helping, and this would be a great way to help the community here. I love working with people, and the colored name would be a bonus. I want to keep people from being warned/banned by showing them what they would be missing, and steer them away from that path. I look up to the General Helpers here, and have always wanted to be one. Even if I don't get the job, I will do all this. The only difference would be that I can't access the help system and I won't have a colored name. With limited access to the help system I could do so much more that I can't do now. I would be honored to have a colored name and help so much more than I do now. I am always kind to users around here. I refrain from being snappy and rude because those are not very good qualities. Thank you for taking the time to consider me, even for a moment. I am doing German language as a GCSE and I am learning German history so I would be able to help any German speaking users. I am also doing Geography and we have to do reports on a whole multitude of different countries and regions. My parents both work in a judge house so they always talk about their most interesting case of the day and how they handled the situation so I guess I do have some peer mediation skills ;_; I know all the tools in Oekaki and I am starting to draw more on there. I have had an 'adopted newbie' so I have practiced in working with newbies and answering their questions. I also am taking computering for GCSE so I guess I learn stuff there, too.


6.Why do you want to be a General Helper? I think it would be a great oppotunity to help other users and it would also be a great experience. It would be nice to know that while I am havin fun on CS, I can make other people enjoy it lots too!
