Seth frowned lightly and fell silent, slumping down and glancing at the ground in front of him at the tear. He had never meant to make her cry and that had hurt him enough to stop cold weather she planned to or not.

Lily turned and grabbed her pen and notebook, then walked downstairs again, tears running down her cheeks. She wiped at them when she passed him, but continued until she was outside.

Seth frowned, immediately standing and following after her, grabbing her wrist to stop her. "Lily, I'm sorry." He murmured lightly, hating himself for making her cry like this.

Lily fell silent, letting her gaze drop to the ground. She hung her head a bit as well so he wouldn't have to look at her tears. "Sorry for what?" she mumbled, not sure what he was talking about.

"For making you cry and getting mad over senseless things like this." Seth sighed, frowning.

Lily sighed, sniffling slightly. Another tear ran down her cheek. "It's okay," she whispered.

"No, it's not." Seth sighed, watching her sadly before shifting his eyes to stare at the ground.

Lily sniffled again and fell silent.

(Should she give the ring back?)

[ Hm.. Yeah, I kind of had Seth veer off of that plot. D: Maybe, because of the fight, she could think that they should wait a while longer before they get married and give it back to him? :3 ]

Seth sighed quietly, frowning sadly.

After a few moments, Lily took a deep breath and gently slid her ring from her finger, dropping it in Seth's palm. "Seth...if we can't handle this fight...I think we need to wait a little longer," she said quietly, another tear rolling down her cheek. Her heart broke in sight of that ring just sitting in Seth's hand.
