It was obvious that Serenity was bitter and stubborn, trying to act tough. Her life had made her that way. Her pack was tough, rough to live in and if you didn't stand your guard you would get trampled by other members. They were vicious and heartless people for the most part, fighting often with each other over stupid reasons. Most of them were males so that didn't really help the few females in the pack. The males were all over them, and it was aggravating. She could never get a moment of quietness or peacefulness when being swarmed by either males, or by a long list of things to do. Patrol the borders, stock the kill pile, clean the cabin her parents and her slept in. So much to do, never getting time to herself, and this one time she gets time to herself this man wants to try to take it away from her.
"Look, I am just here to be by myself for a bit while I am still able to. If I am harming nothing, I see no reason for me having to leave." She growled at the man before her, his firm tone bothering her. He was trying to act dominant over her, but Serenity would not let that fly. She was not one to back down at a fight, if anything him trying to control her only made her want to fight more. He was bigger than her, that was easy to tell, but she could be a tricky fighter. She was small and quick, although it didn't always work for her. Once she was down, she had a hard time getting back up.
Serenity sighed, cracking her neck for a moment before she dropped onto all fours and her small, human body shifted into a large, pure white, fluffy wolf. Her body position was tense and ready for a fight. If she lost, then she would do what was expected and go back to her territory. But if she won, well she would have quite a story to tell and she would get to enjoy the rest of her night to herself. She just didn't know how good of a fighter he was.
She shifted from paw to paw eagerly, watching the human boy closely. "Well, I guess it will be a fight." Serenity stated, holding her head high. Although it was odd. She usually would be showing countless signs of dominance and aggression in a fight, but this time she didn't. She already knew the male would probably win, and she knew he was probably more dominant than her, but he was simply doing his job and she was giving him a hard time. She felt bad for the man, knowing he was only following orders, but she just really wanted to stay here, not go back to her pack lines yet. This was the only type of freedom she got and she didn't want to give it up.
