Rolling onto my side, I thought about yesterday, and then looked up, gazing around the camp, wondering where Aztec was. Maybe he'd talk to me today. Or maybe he was like the other wolves from my old pack. Talk to me and be my friend, and then the next day, they wanted me gone. Like dead, not just away.
