yes it was copyright infringement we will never have new warrior cats. There is nothing stopping us from making natural looking cats or even occasional cameos of the old lineart, but we are not able to make any more warrior cats.

I don't see how you can copy right normal color cats unless it's cats like Brightheart with her scar. XP Oh well.

yeah it may sound odd but the fact that we acknowledged that they were based on Erin Hunter's books is what made it copyright infringement. The cats themselves are fine, but we named them after characters from her books, which was not fine. Oh well, no-one ever updated them anyway, so it's not a big loss.

We could always just remove the names. [lol] XP And some names I've seen used on other stuff like Fireheart and Lionheart. Plus the Erins sometimes take fan OC names and use them for themselves <_< They said so before.

ah it doesn't matter I'm not a Warrior's fan anyway (never read the books) so it doesn't bother me to be honest, I wanted them gone x3

interesting though they went unnoticed for any span of time when theree on a 90 thousand member site i have no idea anyway i only kept some because cloudtail is an interesting colour etc

ah well we're still pretty small in the grand scheme of things, I'm sure we fly pretty low on the radar compared to the size of the Warrior Cats fanbase, but you know, things catch up eventually

I think we're getting to the top of the radar since Encyclopedia Dramatica has CS on a list of "To Do Articles"
I think we just needed more basic cat colors [like brown tabby and pure tortoiseshell] for the warrior cats so the warrior cat fans here wouldn't go nutty. XD
Btw. If we aren't making anymore warrior cats I suggest locking the "Suggest a Warrior Cat" Thread.

its that big there books are virtualy unknown were i live (australia) at least i have never seen a bookstore stock them, my library has only the first series and then again my library has book that known ever heard of so thats not suprising they have some.

Yeah chickensmoothies one of the bigger adoptable sites (the others are mainly virtualy pet sims/games like neopets and horwse)
