I looked at the girl, trying to figure out her next move. She wasn't a career, but I can tell that we have the same strength. "Yup and pleasure's all mine. What District are you from?" I asked, even though I knew, I was just trying to get some conversation with her. She seems like an innocent, sweet girl. Frightened and wanting to go home, I don't blame her for trying to kill me. There's only seven more tributes in the game. Four careers, three non-careers, I rather die in the hands of a non-career rather than someone that was forced to train like me. I hated the life of a career, always training, volunteering, showing and bringing honor to your district. Maybe I don't want to bring honor. I never wanted to be a career. But my family were careers, I had to become one as well. I haven't killed her, but if I did. I would get a feeling that all Districts 1, 2 and 4 would love to feel. The feeling of someone's life, ending as it enters your weapon. I don't want to feel this way. I don't want to feel like a m o n s t e r...

Azalea got the feeling that the girl–Korra–was just about as willing to kill her as she was. "11." Azalea said warily, feeling small and young. Az could feel her fear radiating off of her, unlike the other times, she wasn't as good at hiding. "You?" She asked, feeling sick to her stomach. Azalea could feel the morning sun burning on her back as she clutched her dagger, feeling more comfort when she felt Noah's back brushed up against hers.

"Sounds nice, you must have a lot of food there." I told her. District Eleven is agriculture, shouldn't they have a lot of food to eat? Well, I never been to eleven so it must be at least a bit poor like District Twelve. "District Two." I answered her, looking at her allie. "Let me guess, you have an alliance with him right?" I smirked, if he got in here, I wouldn't have a chance between the three of us. {WB, sorry!}

Giving an annoyed snarl at the red blood trickling steadily down his arm- as if that would do anything- Torrent looked around. He was tempted to see if the glue would work on his injury, but who knew what toxins it contained? He settled for grabbing a frond of vine from his belt and hastily twisting it around the injury- that was fine, until it wasn't. A few moments later, the offensive substance leaked through the makeshift bandage. But at least it wasn't running down his arm and making his hands slippery. Wet hands equalled less accuracy, and that was something Torrent could not afford.

"Some call me mad. If that gives me the edge to win, you won't find me protesting."

As the huge creature landed squarely infront of her, Sorrel showed the creature her spear. "Seriously..." She muttered in a low, soothing tone. "I don't want to use this. You can have my kill...if you'll leave me alone. I'm to small to taste good, anyway." The girl finished with a thin smile. The large feline hesitated- but the stillness wasn't going to trick Sorrel into thinking it wasn't going to leap. Of course it was- it's first advance simply hadn't taken it as far as it wished to go. Maybe- maybe if she could get away from her kill, then it'd take the deer. "Well..." The girl murmured soothingly, hearing the parachute thunk down next to her. "I'm going to leave this for you, sweetheart- the carcass, and some more meat- look." Sorrel murmured encouragingly, again tossing more meat to the big cat. It sniffed it tentatively, and then gulped it down appreciatively. Sorrel supressed a shudder of fear- surely she wouldn't taste any different from a deer. And this creature had already proved it's appetite for humans. "I'll leave you alone, and you'll be full by the time you've finished the deer. If you attack, I'll be able to injure you before your strike fatal- and then you might get an infection. That could lead to death."
Sorrel was wondering what percentage of the viewers thought her absolutely mental. This cat most likely couldn't understand a word she was saying. But she wasn't making the situation any worse, and it was a comfort to her.
Reaching down blindly- her eyes still on the Liger's paws, not trusting them to dart away- she grasped the silver parachute and moved slowly backwards, around the kill. Leaving all of the venision- if the liger decided to leave her alone, it'd simply return because of the smell of meat- she slowly retreated into the bushes. Wierdly, the creature didn't follow. She thought back to a stray cat she'd once encountered- it'd remained frozen until she'd gone, then bolted. Sinking into a clump of ferns, Sorrel watched as the creature advanced- before falling on the kill. Once the beast was suitably engrossed, Sorrel slunk away- surely it could hear her, but prefered an easy meal.

"Go ahead.
Underestimate my strength.
It'll most likely be the last mistake you ever make."

((Do you think Sorrel looks sueish/untouchable here? I'm going on the logic that a liger would probably prefer an easy meat with lots of meat to a skinny person with a weapon. If this is unrealistic, I'll edit.))

Noah felt Azalea's elbow brush his back and he heard the whistle of a stone knife being thrown. He didn't turn, trusting Az to handle herself for the moment as he watched Torrent go in for the kill on the girl. Wincing, he glanced away hearing the thud of the girl falling to the floor. Opening his eyes, he watched Torrent warily, keeping his back to Azalea, like he said he would. His grey eyes watched the seemingly mad boys movements carefully, his spear gripped in his hand, knuckles white.

When he heard Azalea talking, he listened, still watching Torrent. Who was she talking to? When he heard them exchanging names and Districts, he blinked, surprised the girl from two hadn't tried to kill Az already. Was't that what career's did. Blinking, he turned around, narrowing his eyes at the girl. He was now on Azalea's left side, spear raised threateningly. He didn't trust career's. Their alliances always proved folly, and they couldn't care less about people. But, there was something different about this Korra girl. She didn't seem as willing as the other career's. Sure, she had her sword raised threateningly, but she didn't look ready to kill.

But that didn't mean Noah would trust her. Obviously, Azalea had trusted Niall, and how had that turned out? With the boy betraying her than trying to rejoin her alliance? Noah was still confused on the details of it. Blinking his stormy grey eyes, he watched Korra, before glancing back over his shoulder to check on the Torrent boy. No telling how he would react to seeing more tributes. He'd probably try and kill them all. Plus, Noah could see Phoenix approaching with the girl from one. Joy.... "You good Az?" He murmured, still watching the approaching career's.

Phoenix felt the girl stumble, and yanked her back up. She had no plans to let the sister-like, younger girl get sucked up by a tornado. Panting, she flicked a strand of black hair from her ice-white-blue eyes spotting Torrent a few yards ahead, the girl from earlier lying at his feet, looking grotesque. Wrinkling her nose, she gently let go of Briar's hand and let go of half of the hand-made net to the floor, watching the fish fall out. She could always clean them later, but she needed the net now. Wrapping part of it around her hand for a good grip, she watched the Noah boy warily, noting the spear in his hand.

She herself had her own spear, actually Torrent's spare. Well, he'd just have to get over it if he was mad about that. She had to have a weapon, and that was the closest thing to a trident she had. They'd better watch out, because fire-bird had her best weapon. Her expression became unreadable as she picked her medicine from her bag and handed it to Torrent, noting the cut he'd had. It'd been what she used on her neck...her eyes floated back to Noah and glare crossed her face, seating it's self permanatly. He was the boy who'd tried to kill her. And for that, he would have to pay. Taking away his alliance seemed like a nice choice.

Turning to Briar and Torrent, she raised a brow. "Can I trust you two to distract the Noah biy so I can get Azalea? I have a...favor to return." She said, smiling slightly.

Torrent had his cold brown eyes- a combination hard to achieve- planted on Noah. The two girls not of the careers, although he was sure one should have been part of the alliance, were keeping each other busy, and right now the dark haired boy was the only person who might pose a threat. Eyes still staring menacingly at Noah, he bent slowly and snatched up his sharkskin bundle.
Torrent was just about to advance- maybe if he applied enough force he could get a knife into his throwing arm and finish him off with Barney- when Phoenix spoke. He almost spun around and relfexively attempted to skewer her with Barney, but haulted at her voice. With a slightly...disturbing grin, he took the medicine from Fire-bird, and muttered: "Sure."
Torrent hastily applied the medicine- even with Briar's assistance- he didn't want to obtain more injures, and that was more likely should he leave his current one unhealed. Then, he muttered: "I want my spear back after this." and launched a shark tooth at Noah's arm. He grimaced, for it hadn't been sent nearly as accurately as he'd hoped to. If Noah was slow, it'd stick- but not in the intended place. And Torrent didn't know how fast Noah was. But, it'd distract him, for now at least.

Aidens body droppedto the ground infront of Torrent and I heard the cannon shot ring out clearley over the noise of the winds roaring around us, keeping us close together.

I could feel the tension levels in the air mounting as we stood trapped by the tornados. I could
see Azalea confronting Korra, and felt dissapointed that I could not see her, Noah and Az were
blocking her from view. I set my jaw and stood straighter. I looked directly at Noah and felt the sting of my cut knees as I straightened them and was glad of my tense jaw or I would have winced.

I heard Phoenix whisper her plan to both Torrent and I and quickly forged a plan. Torrent was bound to shoot first, and I had to time my throw perfectly to cause maximum confusion. I watched the muscles in his arm flex as he thre my knife at the boy. As I watched the blade spin towards its target, I heard a small explosion ending the life of another tribute. The boy from nine I think... The bodies were mounting up and I knew that the gamemakers would have to release us soon to collect them and send them back to their greiving district in a wooden box. I would grab The girl from twelves items before she was carried away. The blade got closer to Noah, and I quickly tore one of mine from my belts and threw it. I didnt pause and ripped a second from the vine securing it to my belt and released it, watching as both spiraled towards him. The first aimed higher and slightly to the right, the second following Torrents, just slightly lower.

I laid my middle finger over my index, so that they were ever so slightly crossed, I hoped it would be enough. If not, Phoenix was in danger and I had just lost two knives. I only realised after they had left my hand it was my daggers.

Spotting Briar had got down to her daggers- only she could clear a belt of weapons so quickly- Torrent delved into his shark skin bundle, hoping Noah would be momentarily distracted. He snatched a sharktooth, still slippery with blood, and wiped it hastily on his shirt before launching it into the ground beside the tribute from District 1. Torrent knew it wasn't as good as one with a hilt- but it was better than nothing. Besides, he had enough teeth to go around.
Torrent was curious to see where the knives would hit, but knew that unless one struck fatal Noah would be preparing a rebound attack. Though the sharkskin would make a good armour, he'd have to drop the supplies- it was not in Torrent's best interest go around giving freebie weapons, food and vines to his enemies. Maybe, if he got out of this mess alive, he'd make it into one. But Torrent couldn't...sew. He'd have to make it basic. He then realised he was mentally rambling, and snapped out of his illusion.

{ The setting was perfect..... }

Out of the blue, three ravens launched themselves into the circle of tributes, interrupting any plans. The trio let out loud, menacing caws as they dropped towards the grounds, their razor-sharp talons piercing the dirt. Their ebony eyes glared at the tributes, shining with the viciousness weaved into their genes.

Some things you may want to know about the ravens:

Each raven, in body size, not including wings, is three feet wide and eight feet tall.

Their talons and beaks are each made of solid, smooth, and deadly matierial that's razor-sharp and can quite easily shred flesh if it gets in their way.

They attack using the strategy of surprise, air, and its' sharp talons.

They are rather smart and calculating, and will follow the tribute of their choice around the entire arena for days, endlessly, if needed.
