I had o luck with getting mum to let me have rats,so im getting ferrets instead
But I was just gonna ask,my friend in New Zealand just got a rat, and she said she gave him abit of cake,How unhealthy is that?
If it's yellow or white cake, a pea-sized amount is enough. The rat should definitely not have more than that - it can be very fattening. Make sure the rat doesn't eat chocolate.
Also, does your friend just have one rat? If so, that's really not a good thing. Rats NEED to live with other rats.

Chocolat is poisonous to several animals and can cause rats to develop cancer. The DNA of a rat and a human are similar enough that human medicines can be accurately tested on rats in small quantities.
So when people say that chocolat is harmless, are they telling the truth or just trying to avoid their favorite candy becoming illegal?

Tinker

Phantom

Tinker is a black variegated. c: My first instinct was to say that Tinker is a mismarked Berkshire, but the spot on the head and how far the white extends up the flanks is more variegated.
Phantom's a tough one; I've never seen a rat quite like that. The color is hard to tell by the picture - might be gray, or might be mink. I'd say that Phantom is either a mismarked hooded with a blaze marking on the head, or just variegated, like Tinker.

{First of all, I think they're both absolutely adorable .3.}
{Secondly! I agree with Tuesday on Tinker's markings, and also somewhat with Phantom's. My first thought was a blazed bareback hooded. Don't know what to tell you on the patches, though, I'm no marking expert x3}
{My boys are doing well. They tend to have a little discharge, but they're happy and very active. Thank goodness they love their ball .w.}
