William looked at her weirdly. "What's wrong Karma?" He asked her

Karma looked in the direction of the rustling, her muscles tighening scaredly. not knowing what it was.

William got down and pulled out his small knife for carving. He had stopped the hobby a long time ago, but he still carried it around with him

Karma, in an attempt to ignore the noise, starting trying to eat William's hair lightly, just to distract herself. but her ears remained on the noise.

William looked at the rustling and waited for the thing to appear

Karma snorted softly. looking at the bush as a small coyote stepped out of it carrying it's dinner, a fair sized rabbit.

Corr flicked his ears when the coyote emerged. His body went stiff and he ran to the stall door, kicking it and trying to get out to help Karma

Melody went over to the stall, looking at Corr. "Hey, Corr. Shhhhh, calm down. What's the problem?"

Karma put her ears back, and attempted to run to the far side of the area, trying to keep her distance from the coyote.

William let her run, knowing it wasn't safe- for him either

Corr whinnied and leaned against the door, straining to get out and help Karma. He looked at coyote and nickered menacingly. Then he looked at Melody and pleaded with his eyes to let him go. He wouldn't leave, just get rid of the predator-he hoped

Melody sighed, looking from the coyote to Corr. "No corr. He's just going to eat his dinner. No need to bug him."

The coyote just laying down and eating happily.
