She didn't say anymore as she noticed Phantom once more, already cared for by Shiko and her apprentice. She moved over to him, laying down beside him. "You know I thought you were a hunter. Does that mean when it's necessary do we take up the warrior mantle as well?" She peered at him, looking back at Copper. Would he be upset with her if she fought so he wouldn't?

Monte sighed and stepped forward "Do those wolves attack often? They have never crossed into my territory." Monte thought only badgers and the quarrelsome squirrels she sighed and rembered her last argument with the squirrels. Monte sighed and sat closer to the group. Her fur unsettled. Her eyes darted. This to her was a large group of foxes. She judged the foxes.

Copper walked over to where Jakei and Yuri were. "Even though I'm not fully a warrior, I am an apprentice and that has to count for something. I can take you guys out to hunt if you like" he told them, "Do you want me to run it by Shiko? I think if we stay close to camp, there won't be as much danger."

Raven saw a few foxes gathering and she went to join them. "I'll hunt with you too," she said, "We're going to need all the food we can get." When Raven looked into Jakei's eyes, she was surprised to see her own determination reflecting, and the quick glance empowered her to want to do her best for the leash.

Soul limbs flopped around on Ryuu's back. His handsome dark red pelt was now sticky with blood, and his fur was ripped and shredded in many places. The largest injury was on his side, and blood continued to pour out as he was carried through the forest.

Ryuu finally reached camp, carefully carrying Soul to Shiko's den, "Treat him first." Ryuu grunted.

Shiko's eyes widened in horror, but her body remained calm, "Hope, please chew up lots of mint and daisy pulp." Shiko immediately grabbed for primrose pollen and thoroughly dusted Soul with it. "Stay strong..." she murmured to her leader.

Phantom nodded. "Yes Sadira. It is true." He answered, nodding.
Hope chewed a necessary amount of mint and daisy. She spit them out in her paws. She had the look of horror in her eyes, as well as Shiko it seemed.

Shiko slid a nutshell full of primrose pollen over to hope with one of her tails as she snatched the pulp from Hope. "Here, you can dust Ryuu's wounds with this." She began to rub Soul's wounds down with the pulp.

Blood was spilling all over the floor of the alchemist's den, from both him and Soul. He waited for Hope to treat him, looking intimidating and battered at the same time.

Jakei looked over at Yuri uncertainly, "I guess, but I don't know how much Shiko will like the idea. Maybe." He looked at the apprentice. "I think it is worth a shot however if we can help the wounded foxes that are returning." He nodded to himself.

Leaf Fall joined in as he walked over. "Yes, it is absolutely necessary that we get food. I will lead the patrol myself." He leaned heavily on his shoulder and winced in pain then groaned as Jakei suggested, "Why don't you just rest? I am better off." Leaf Fall looked at his friend for a moment, then sighed. "Very well." He lay where he was and took several deep breaths trying to ignore the throbbing pain.

Jupiter looked fearfully at Ryuu as she saw the amount of blood Soul was losing. She tried to quicken her pace but did not manage too successfully. "Ryuu," She said, taking a deep breath, stopping and closing her eyes, "You need to get Soul to Shiko. Leave me here. I will make it back. Soul is losing a lot of blood and needs treatment now."

"Ye-Yeah... I think we should go find the others, only Ryuu and Soul have made it back." he said worriedly, and paced by the entrance to the camp.

Hope nodded. She fastly did what she was told, and wiped her head. It was much work, when treating almost half of the whole fox leash after a wolf attack.

Shira woke up from her long sleep and got up on her four paws her tails wiggled as she shook herself. She padded over to Yuri.
