That is why there is an update. So people don't trade pets that are easy to come across, and really just not rare, for their actual rare pets. The pets are just as easy/hard to find as they were yesterday.

Well try trading your favorit pet that was rare and is still rare for a pet worth the same that you like even more at the time and you paid fairly for it just to come on here and see that the next day you over payed for it cuz urs stayed rare and the other one changed to uncommon like really this is stupid it was fine the way it was before

Calling something "stupid" isn't very nice of you. Nick has done something to help fix the economy on here and put a lot of hard work into this. It's taken a few weeks. It's unfortunate the rarity changed, but it just wasn't that rare to begin with anyways. You chose to trade that pet yesterday.

Well nick should have told us something like this was gunna happen and not just spring this on us without warning that wasn't very nice of him. Getting rare pets is hard enough I had to put my dreamie up for auction that was gifted to me so I could get rares and now half of them weren't worth trading for her. He could have at least told us about it before he did it.

I find the best way to get rares is wait around until the advent calendar, it releases pets from the past years. Rares aren't going to fall into your lap. You have to be patient. If you stick around for CS holidays like Easter and Halloween chances are you'll get some rares.

Stormfire please stop complaining. We understand you don't like the change, but even if Nick had given warning, you would have had no idea what pets would have changed. He needed to implement the change, and it's happened. You're starting to get disrespectful over something Nick has put a lot of hard work into, so please stop.

A warning? What would a warning have accomplished? Nothing but hype and drama. It would not have changed the outcome of the update nor would it have informed you of anything more than you now know, it's not like you would have gotten a detailed rundown of what was going down a rank on the scale so you could unload it onto someone and make a quick clip-up.

Give it a few weeks or so and I think it'll be a lot plainer to see how the older ranking system was actually disadvantaging EVERYONE but being so outdated and basing rarities in an unsensible manner, as well as adding to the already biased demand system on how valuable pets are judged.

Nothing you traded yesterday, the day before, or the day before that is any different to today in how many there are in existance in the trading market, now you can very accurately gague what's available with the new rankings based on pets to active accounts

Also if you have nothing constructive to add or comment, don't expect your posts to stick around ^^;

Hmm, I'm back from looking at all my pets. I lost a few rares--mostly the recent, 'straight-away' rares, and the pets that turned rare recently--but I gained a few rares, too. I even have a second very rare now, without even having to do anything!

This is a cool change--one that will take some getting used to, but good nonetheless.

So all of sudden us older mebers who had learned over the years how to trade fairly,dates always mattered,rairties matter(Which they still do.),so we throw that in the trash?
We have to learn how to trade all over again?
I mean alot of the older members are goingto just be a bit weirded out by it.
Well i mean Nick said dates don't matter anymore.
So is that implying we could trade 2012 VRs for 2008 VRs?
I'm just really confused.

But that's ok too. People who don't know English too well will see the colours, so I expect less failtrades from now on.
