I HAVE A QUESTION!
If there are any large amount of people that literally "Delete" the pets..does that affect the rarity in time at all? (Since that means there would be less of them on CS, I think).

please correct me if i'm wrong, but I thiought deleted pets went to the pound?

Deleted pets really are deleted, they are gone from the CS database forever. If a large enough number of pets were deleted, then yes, that would make the pet rarer.

I think the new system is good, but too bad you cant see the rarity of the pets when it's in their group without clicking on it. I move around the pets to groups by the rarity but I have to cross check the rarities on each individual pet, which can be annoying when you have 800 pets to move.

it's just the new bars that make new users think that if both says rare, it would be an equal swap - which is a big headache for someone like us that gets trades very frequently x.x

Well, I believe that - a rare is a rare is a rare. That is part of the reason for the update, no? So anyone now telling me dates matter I won't believe it anymore, sorry.

This is incorrect. All rares are not equal. Older pets are more valuable, because way back in 2008 there were less players who could adopt pets. When more and more people joined, the amount of those pets (such as the sunback) stayed the same. Sure, some are rereleased on December 18th, but not enough of them for every person on CS to have one. Rare pets, especially the ones that are older, are "rare" because there are less of them available to trade; the fact is that fewer of them exist.

Just remember that the month is still going on and more people join and get them. Their rarity will go down since new members join each day and people cheat to get them, the cheaters' accounts are deleted and the pets go to the pound, including the lions. They are worth no where near very rares from 2010 as an example.

your answer:

as before, it should be that rarity gets updated about once a month, near the end once all the monthly pets have been adopted. This month it looks like we accidentally jumped the gun and put rarities up on the grown pets, but those might change a little by the end of the month when we update again (since more will have been adopted by then)

lol I just got a trade and when I clicked on it, I saw the bars under the pets. I was like "What the heck!?" XD I love the idea! There were way to many "uncommon" pets and no "very common" pets on the site before. Hopefully this will cut down the number of unfair trades people get for their pets that actually are very rare.

No it isnt there is a more reason to overpay, yes, but now you have the TRUE raritys, as in you overpayed for your rares before.. Okay in that way it sort of is but its a great change ))
