Malcolm glared at the cat and sneezed. He thought to himself,Well thats alright, I don't need no pussy cat to have fun! He clawed at the door again and howled, "Who's in there?? Why wont you let me in??"

Milo started to hum a tune and lolly-gagged along around to the window in the back and jumped in. He hopped back over to the shelf and layed down. "How's the weather down there?" He laughed, his tail flicking.

Malcom's last shred of patience was destroyed and he froze. Anger washed over him and he whirled angrily. He leaped up at the bookshelf teeth bared. Furious he snapped loudly and irritably, "Just fine Thankyou very much!"

Milo smirked, "Oh goody, it's kinda cold up here. I think i might stay for a bit," He layed down tucking her feet in under his chest, yawning, "You've got spunk, kid!"

Malcolm wasn't sure what to do, or what to make out of the cats words, and the small dog didn't know what spunk was. But he refused to let the cat see that. Probaly a mean thing he thought resentfully. He stalked over to sheves and leaped on one of them. Random items spewed, including a squeak toy. Malcolm forze as the toy squeaked and leaped on it in pursiut.

Milo turned away from the shaking shelves and away from Malcolm who became distracted and turned to the cat(?) "Do I know you?" He said unsure of the cat's(?) name, "I'm messing with the puppy..." He said a little embarrassed.
