Hope smothered the daisy and mint pulp around and on Leaf Fall's wounds first. She then turned to the back of him and treated the wounds there as well the same. Hope wanted to do it thoroughly and perfectly.
Phantom sat outside of the den. He remembered the cherry. He plopped it into his mouth and chewed it. The sweet-bit taste of the cherry filled his mouth as he swallowed it. Phantom could feel his wounds, very slowly, fading the pain.

"Here." Shiko handed Hope a clump of cattail cotton and began to slather a pre-chewed pulp of mint and daisy onto Jakei, she then stuffed his wounds expertly with cattail cotton. Shiko fished out two more cherries and handed each of the two foxes one.

Hope carefully stuffed the cattail cotton in the wounds. She was soon done and sat back.

"Good." Shiko nodded, glad that the stubborn foxes were taken care of, she knew when the others arrived they would be very busy.

Leaf Fall looked at Shiko gratefully, giving her an affectionate nudge. "Thanks!" He grinned and stood up, padding stealthily out of the medicine den. Jakei nodded to Shiko and blinked in gratitude then chuckled and followed behind his friend.

Jupiter realized that she better get back to the leash's camp so she began to limp towards home. Her wounds were stinging furiously and she was in agony. Blood dripped down her legs and caked over other parts of her body. She groaned, but kept going. She had a head splitting migraine to top it all off.

Ryuu slowed his pace, still holding Soul on his back to walk back to camp next to Jupiter, he wanted to keep an eye on her.

Yuri's eyes were wide and panicked as he danced around the returning foxes, not knowing what to do he sprinted back to camp. "They're coming back and they're all hurt!" Yuri yelled as he burst into camp.

Jupiter looked gratefully at Ryuu. "Thanks." She whispered. "Company helps. I haven't been in a battle like this before...I killed the wolf." She said and concentrated on keeping her pace. "Its wounds were too much for it, but in return he busted me badly." She grinned softly and then grunted as her open wound on her shoulder ripped slightly from her movement.

Jakei looked up. "Jupiter." He whispered. He raced up to Yuri, his apprentice. "Sshh. Calm down. Are any of them dead? Where are they? You and I will need to take a warrior out to get prey for them to eat." His eyes shone with determination.

"We're almost there..." Ryuu murmured.

"No one's dead, but Soul is unconscious." He told Leaf Fall, still panicky.
