Ember wagged his tail again and licked Christopher.

The cat jumped back to protect her kittens. "He's weaker, he can be taken down easily."

Friesia closed the door behind Dain and collapsed in a chair.

Christopher grinned and continued to pet Ember.

"He should've been taken down already!" Jesu snarled, showing his teeth. He made a lunge for the cat, raking his lion's claws down her side.

Dain came in and looked around.

Ember wagged his tail happily.

The cat hissed. "He's too strong, I am gonna kill him!"

Friesia gave Dain a tired smile. "Yeah, like I said, took the both of us to get him here."

Christopher kept giving Ember more and more attention. Man's best friend right here. Dogs are awesome!

Jesu pinned the cat down with a large paw. "Then you better do it! Otherwise, you won't be the only one getting a few scrapes." He looked meaningfully at her kittens.

Dain smirked.

Ember rolled onto his back, wagging his tail.

"I will! I promise!" She cried.

Christopher shrugged and started giving Ember a belly rub.

Jesu growled and slashed at her head before disappearing.

The cat took the blow, she didn't care, he kittens were safe.

Christopher kept rubbing Ember's belly, he was so fluffy!
