Emberstar tensed slightly and mewed, "And?? What happened Foxgaze?"

Salmoncut shuffled over and slumped down in a nest, shutting his eyes peacefully for just a second. The sky was getting dark, it would be time to go to the gathering soon. He wasn't going, no way.

Reedkit roared and charged at Littlekit. Whisperkit leapt onto his back and dug his needle sharp claws in and ripped them down his back. Reedkit howled and turned to see his scar. Whisperkit stepped back, looking worried.

[wolf ;;]

"Well, Salmoncut gave Lionfoot a scar on the face, then he attempted to kill him against my orders, but Butterflight got his tail...and took half of it off." Foxgaze meowed. "Lionfoot explained that he didn't want to leave and all, and I think Salmoncut forgave him."

Skypaw came back out of the herb store and padded over to Salmoncut, herbs in his mouth. He put the herbs down and started to chew the marigold, then he put it on Salmoncut's tail. "How did this happen?"

Littlekit's eyes went wide as she watched Reedkit and Whisperkit. "Are you alright Reedkit?" She asked worriedly.

[walk.]

Emberstar took this in and sighed, "What else would we expect if he saw his father, Salmoncut will not be punished, as he cannot help feeling angry, it is natural and he's already been punished enough, now having only half a tail."

Salmoncut mewed, "It's a long story. It started a long while before you where born, when I had only just been apprenticed. My father left the clan for another she cat he loved. I met him today and tried to kill him but Butterflight stopped me, but ripping off half my tail in the process."

Reedkit growled, "No!" he pointed to the large scr that now an down his back. Whisperkit mewed, "I'm s sorry!"

Foxgaze nodded. "Alright." He meowed, and he turned before padding away.

Skypaw flicked his ears as he listened to the warrior, and when he had finished he blinked his eyes. "Well, Butterflight didn't mean it most likely." He meowed, then he slightly purred. "She would never hurt you on purpose."

Littlekit looked at Whisperkit. "Don't worry, its not your fault, accidents happen." She meowed, then she looked at Reedkit. "Go see Skypaw or Pondweed, they might be able to do something."

Emberstar nodded and lay down and murmered to himself, "Something needs to be done about Salmoncut..."

Salmoncut chuckled and mewed, "I know, clan mates do not Injure each other on purpose, besides, of she hadn't done it, I would have killed someone I didn't know I loved."

Reedkit growled and stormed into the nursery and padded over to Willowbreeze. He clambered into the nest and humphed, lying down putting his head on his paws.

Skypaw flicked his ears and put the cobwebs on. "Oh, Butterflight would've let any other cat kill Lionfoot, but she didn't let you...don't tell me that you don't get it."

Littlekit looked at Whisperkit.

Willowbreeze looked at Reedkit. "How did you get the scar on your back?" She asked worriedly.

Salmoncut frowned and mewed, "What do you mean exactly Skypaw?" his ears twitched lightly and he looked at his tail.

Whisperkit mewed, "I always get told off for everything. I like to play rough and sometimes forget my claws are there. I also didn't like Him saying Yewclaw is evil, because.... He's my dad."

Reedkit growled, "Whisperkit was playing rough and he unsheathed his claws!" Tide rolled her eyes and mewed, "He is like his father when it comes to playing but he has the heart of an Angel."

Skypaw purred. "Don't you know she likes you?"

Littlekit eyes went wide. "Y-Your father is Yewclaw?"

Willowbreeze flicked her ears, then she looked at Reedkit. "Besides, it might be a mistake, mistakes always happen."

Salmoncut blinked and mewed, "No! Does she? Now I think about it, it is kinda obvious isn't it!"

Whisperkit mewed urgently, "Please don't tell anyone! Especially not Willowbreeze, he killed her mate and would think I was going to kill her son, I'm not like him, me and Swankit are both like Mummy!"

Reedkit growled, "Yeah, but it still hurt Mumma!"

Skypaw grinned and nodded. "I thought you would've noticed, I didn't know I would have to tell you."

Littlekit flicked her ears. "Alright, I won't tell."

"Don't worry, get some rest, I'll ask Pondweed or Skypaw to have a look at you later." Willowbreeze meowed.
