i simply cannot get my art style to work. i just can't. i want to be happy with my art so badly, and i'm close, but i can't like what i draw if i don't like how i draw it. their are just so many things that i see in other people's art and think, 'wow, i want to do something like that' or whatever. but all the things i want to change are polar opposite. i want a more realistic style, but i also want stylized. i want something cartoony and cute, but i want more gracefuland mature. i want something more painterly and sketchy, but i also want crip, clean and sharp. i'll be damned if i know how i could possibly combine everything i want to achieve into one harmonious, appealing drawing style. what the hell am i going to do.

I'm in the same boat as you. So, as a result, what I simply do is draw however I feel like drawing a picture. If I want it sketchy and dirty, it's sketchy and dirty. Graceful, graceful. Gradient, gradient. Bold, bold.
I wish you luck, though. I know when you find your style it'll be just how you wanted it to be. <3

I finally fixed up my signature after my mental breakdown.
Dear Arceus that better not happen again.

I have a sudden urge to drink some coffee but it's nearly 2 am and I doubt I'll be able to get to sleep in the next few hours if I do. Also, I'm working on a drawing and I really don't feel like drawing faces on these people, faces are too hard.
