((We need one or two more dragons from Sunstreak Clan. Also, we still have very few males. As soon as RPing start, there will be a bunch of pages, which could scare off anyone thinking of joining. I don't know when that will be. Right now I'm working on a banner to put in my signature that will hopefully bring more people in.))

Violet yawned and slowly exited her cave, shaking herself awake. The sun was slowly rising in the East, casting a light yellow glow on the trees. She smiled and then went to the edge of the forest. Just as she'd hoped, there was dew on the plants and tree bark. This was a pretty good idea! I wonder why no one else has thought of it before. She thought, surprised. I can't wait to tell the Clan! She began to lick the leaves again, but she soon found out that only the leaves on the edge of the forest were wet with dew. The rest of the plants were dry. Violet's head dropped, disappointed. There wouldn't be enough water here to satisfy the Clan for even an hour. They might have to make another trip to the Great River. That was far to close to the border for her liking. She sighed and stopped drinking. This water should go to the chicks, not me. That way they won't have to come with he adults to the border.

Thorn awoke to the smell of a rabbit. He opened his eyes to find a rabbit sitting at the mouth of his cave, nibbling on a flower. His mouth watered and his snout twitched at the enticing smell. He must have been in plain view of the rabbit as well, because the rabbit froze at the movement. It slowly rose to its hind feet, looking around cautiously. That's the problem with this food shortage. Thorn thought. The only prey that hasn't been eaten by now is way too smart. He shifted his hind legs, getting ready to spring. The rabbit saw the movement and sprinted away. Thorn leaped forward, but he was still stiff from sleeping, and the rabbit was soon out of sight. He gave up and walked back to his cave entrance, waiting for the other dragons to wake up.

Luna stirred when she heard Thorn chase the rabbit, she rose to her feet shook her self out and ambled over to join him. "what are you doing up this early" she yawns and streches her wings

Ice flew up into the air, she roared and smiled, she loved doing this it was one of her favourite things, she did prefer hunting, except there wasn't much food going around, so flying was her new favourite thing to do, she could have sworn she spotted something on the ground, so she swopped down low, but she couldn't catch it, she hated the food shortage, but there wasn't much she could do about it. She spotted Luna on the ground standing with Thorn, she landed next to them both and smiled "hello" she called out happily to them.

"Hey there Ice, boy your an earlier riser" Luna laughed, her long tail swaying back and forth shimmering in the sunrises radiant glow.
"you want to go for a swim" she asks streching her wings to full lenght reveling a small tear in her wing membrane, a reminder of how close she can to death when flying carelessly through the trees.
