"I'm not a dog ether..." Ember looked at him. Because of his...waist line...people often made the mistake of him being a dog...

Dain laid there, still and quiet.

Christopher shrugged. "Well, whatever, you get what I mean." He stoked Ember's fur, his rough hands were surprisingly gentle.

Friesia sat next to Dain, keeping vigil until he was well again. She used a spell on him, hoping it'd relieve some of the pain.

Dain winced a bit in his sleep.

Ember was happy with the fuss, he rather enjoyed it

Friesia fell asleep after a moment, she had used up most of her energy...

Christopher could tell Ember was happy with being petted, so he didn't stop. "Well, I can see why Fry likes you... You're fluffy!" He laughed a bit.

Ember yipped like he was a puppy again and wagged his tail.

Christopher looked at Ember kindly. I guess this might work after all... This one seems to have warmed up to me. But I wonder how Dain got in such horrible shape...

Ember could see something was bothering him and looked at him. "You okay?"

Christopher looked at Ember. "Yeah, I'm just thinking about how this place got totally trashed in a matter of hours, not to mention your friend who was passed out with a broken leg on the floor."

Ember looked at Dain thenback to Christopher. "He'll be okay, he always is."

"Yeah, but you still gotta wonder..." Christopher absentmindedly stroked Ember's fur, trying to figure out a logical reason behind Dain's attack.
