What makes a pet valuable enough to get bumped onto the advent list(or any of the other lists for that matter)? And what causes the pet to be taken down? EX: St. Patty's dragon and the Green Bat dog(I think it was on there once but correct me if I am wrong). I'm wondering about this because the July lion and August lion are doing for low Septembers. I know that's just demand jabbering but is there a slight chance one or both of them will be admitted to the list?

And another thing. I have heard and used the rule that about 7 '09 rares make a mid advent. So how many equals one of the lowest advents, say the Cobweb bun?

It's just the demand, like with the lynx pps.
They won't be more than rare.
And in some months, they will be just another 2012 rare.
So I highly doubt they'll get on the list.
The may lioness and lynx pps aren't on there either.

The St. Pat's dragon went VR very quickly and had a lot of demand as well, hence why it was put on the bottom of the advent list. But recently, it's demand fell so far that there was really no real reason for it to be where it was on the list. Since it was down on the lowest tier of the list, the only place it had to go was off the list entirely.

Hekomi or someone else can correct me if I'm wrong but that's just what I figure out from watching the demand of the dragon.

Also, these July and August Lions are just like the May 2010 Lioness which is only a rare with very low demand. These lions -will not- make the list anytime soon if their rarity and demand ends up anything like the May 2010 Lioness.

I will be entirely surprised if the lions receive a rarity tag higher than rare.
And there are only pets based on age on the list that are rare.

Hekomi is right, it is just demand CURRENTLY. We all know what happened with the UR Tiger. Everyone just said "It's all demand, it will wear off soon" but yet now it's one of the rarest pets.
Even though, this pet will just sink in the shadows like most of them. Adding the fact that there are two of them, meaning it's not all just one pet.
We really shouldn't discuss the rarity of those lions, since it's still unknown. I've seen people pay from uncommons to a bunch of septembers. For now, the rarity of that pet says "Unknown"
