the wind rushed around the basement. Sahara's mane whipped around in the wind. She leaned all her weight onto the door at the top of the steps. Good thing her parents were gone. She panted as she held the door. It was becoming tiring. Thunder crashed overhead. A big flash of light came from outside the glass door in the basement. Lightning had struck the pool. A burst of flames flew up.

Fang stood on her back legs and reached as high as she could and grabbed the rope.She pulled down.

the door swung open and sent Sahara flying down the steps. The door swung off its hinges. It landed near Sahara and shattered. Sahara lay on the floor panting. She was hurt and couldn't move. "H-help m-m-meeee......" Her vision was bluring. She wasn't dying but she was going into an unconscious state. She panted in pain. The wind whipped around the basement.
