lol I was looking at that, I was like, so to make my unicorn a normal horse just for an increased chance to make a unicorn baby? Not worth it... I was thinking about trying for the pony, but then that would mean I would have to get 15 starfish- which you can only obtain by opening HOP's....I don't have that money...

With the Hestia's Gift, if you give it to a Uni mare, then cover her in the correct conditions, the foal will definitely be a unicorn.

So, loads of people use it with Hera packs and Fertility Wands, so they get guaranteed twin unis. But to get the Hera pack, you have to lose a uni. Lose a uni and gain a uni (or two). XD

The pony looks nice, but I've seen nicer ones. And I'm holding out for a Brumby wild horse. :3

Good thing I don't breed unicorns :B I mean, I am trying to get one unicorn foal, for objectives (so far the mare I bought has had two failed unis.... e-e) but I always tell myself "Breed her today at the right time, you know when it is" that time comes, and passes, and I totally forget about it XD Unicorns are too much upkeep for me, I'll stick with regular horses o3o

Nokatu Gray is doing very well, finished in all training except trot, bolded in only Stamina and Dressage, and she has 1800 skills already. Her mom ended up with 1901, fully bolded, and Nokatu seems to have around a +10 skill gain from her mom, so I'm hoping she'll end up with over 2000 :3 It will be my first over 2000 skill horse trained by me from my own bloodlines way back to my foundie : D -proud- And I have one pass for some Aphrodites tears to breed her with~

i love howrse and all, but they have gone crazy. so many competitions! dont get me wrong, i love winning divines and wilds (i only ever won the camargue! :( ) but still. and i want hestia's gift. i spent a pass on a uni so i could take off its horn, but i still have a few items to go. I can't afford passes.

Yeah i need an arab uni! i am an all-arabian breeder! how much though? and is it a mare?

yes, it's a mare. Has GA and a helios' ray. I'm WingedFireFox if you want to take a look at her- her name is Night Personified.

What the heck! I can't cancel any of my sales of horses that are up for sale!

I wish people would quit complaining about the promotions. If you don't want to participate then don't. It's a choice. And it's the only way I have of getting any BMIs; it doesn't only benefit pass-buyers, you know. :/

Yeah, well we are complaining about them for a number of reasons:

a) They are too regular. One after the other. Yes, it is nice to get a lovely amount of BMIs, especially not being a pass buyer myself, but sometimes we all want a break from these promotions. Just play howrse the way it is for a change, and focus on training horses, breeding the best bloodlines, increasing EC prestige... not just play for BMIs and divines.

b) These promos make it easier to get rare and expensive BMIs. This lowers the value of these BMIs. In the curent promo, the unicorn horn ingredient has made the value of unicorns drop. Harmony packs used to be worth a lot. Now they are just another BMI worth hardly anything.

c) Promos shift the focus of the game away from the training and breeding aspect, and moves it to Divine, Special and Wild horses. Everyone is focussed on getting the latest 'divine'. In the long run, Divines become useless and eventually are a status symbol, a goal to aim towards. Once they have all their skills, apart from earning things from them, they become pretty little horses to sit in breeding farms doing nothing. Unless you constantly enter them in competitions, they become boring. With normal horses, you can actually breed them and have their skills passed onto the next bloodline.

You can have your opinion, but this is mine.

I agree! :O
I think its actually made the price of unis go up though, since people want them for their horns, and there are less unicorns...
