"What happened Dain...?" Friesia's voice was soft now. "What did Chris do to make you so mad?"

"It doesn't matter..." Dain tried to lead her back out the door.

Friesia stopped him. "Yes, it does. However much you hate him, Chris is still my brother, and I still care about him. So it does matter to me what happened. So what were you talking about? I assume that you were talking first, I don't exactly see you randomly jumping someone."

Dain swung around her and opened the door for her. "You don't need to know...and I think it's time you went home."

Friesia looked at Dain, surprised and hurt, then glared at him. "Fine," she spat. "I see how it is." She disappeared angrily.

Christopher got up. "Well, I'm sure she won't want to see me for a while, so I'm going to leave."

"What? Friesia wait!" Dain sighed sadly. He'd managed to ruin everything...again....

"Will you be alright?" Ember asked him.

Christopher shook his head. "You shouldn't ask me..." He gave Ember a small wave before disappearing.

Friesia appeared a few seconds after Christopher left. She was still glaring, but it only lasted for a moment. She looked at Ember tearfully.

"Friesia? You okay?" Ember looked at her.

"I don't know. Are you hiding anything?" Friesia ran home and threw herself onto her bed.

Ember whimpered. He was alone...again. He laid where he was and wined....
