Jake turned and locked his brown eyes on her. A Human ? ... Why ? He tried understanding why she would want one... Most strays either hated them or stayed away.

She shrugged. Not all of them are bad. I've had a few but… they never loved me… All I want is a human to love me… Or a mate, but no one will ever love me.

Apollo chuckled and pulled out a selection of meat, it wasn't the best considering it had been there a month - Probably longer - but he wasn't going to complain, "Nahh, there's plenty" he pushed a small plate of chicken between her paws before sniffing at the left over sausages.

Closing his eyes, he turned his head towards the sun again. You know thats not true... Jake tried to sound firm on what he said, he knew himself that the humans would love her.

She chuckled her beautiful chuckle. More than I want a human, I want a mate and pups, She breathed in happily.

Pups ? He rolled over onto his side so that his muzzle was facing her. Why Pups ? ... I mean ... All they do is lay around,cry,sleep and eat...

She looked up, a disappointed look tugged her face. To me, they are more than that. They bring joy to me. They bring love to me. They make me feel special. They are cute and I love to watch them grow to be an adult. And every day is a challenge with pups. You never know what to expect. Its part of the journey in life... She said, getting up and looking deep into his eyes. They were a handsome brown. So handsome she almost couldn't stand it.
