Im stalking furrfianty and deviantart trying to get one is there any conventions theyre going to be at around the tennasse area?

Besides trying for purple parents, I highly suggest looking for RRyybb, and rryyBB parents. The combination should definitely get you purple unless they have some other oddity that effects color (like dilute).

RRyybb = Red
rryyBB = Blue

(Make sure you check the genetics)

With these parents, you /should/ be guaranteed a purple baby, since it should get:
rRyybB as it's genetics.
