Christopher rolled his eyes but said nothing. He never expected Dain to be grateful, but threatening him was a bit much. Meh, what do you expect...?

Friesia didn't hear what Dain had said to Christopher, she was too wrapped up in her own thoughts.

Ember jumped on the two of them, licking Friesia's face and wagging his tail

Friesia hugged Ember too, she was just happy that her nightmare was over. She gave a small smile and buried her face into his fur.

Christopher stayed a few feet away, feeling a bit uncomfortable, but he wanted to talk to Friesia so he didn't leave.

Ember wagged his tail happily, pleased she was alright.

Friesia let go of Ember and looked at him. "Um, can I breathe now?" He was really heavy.

Ember got off her and looked at her, his stomach was dragging across the ground, when he sat down, his front paws couldn't even reach the floor.

Friesia looked up at Dain. "Man, that was bad, wasn't it?"

"What was?" Dain looked at her, yawning.

"Whatever it was that happened to us, I guess." Friesia looked around. "Hey Christopher, where's your girlfriend?"

Christopher looked unamused. "She's not my girlfriend! It was that cat that hangs around my house... and she went back."

Dain huffed. He didn't like her brother at all.
