Cyrus stopped listening to music and sat on the floor and watched tv. He stared blankly as his thick tail twitched.

Cyrus:.... "Euuuuggghh.... Boredom sucks."

"I know..." Shilo said. "what do you want to do..."

Cyrus: "At my old planet, I would usually go hiking in the mountains or go to the arena to beat up every opponent they put in front of me."

Shilo shrugged. "realistically... Do you want to play cards? Watch tv? Um....." she whispered the last part. "kiss....?" she quickly covered her mouth and yelped.

Cyrus didn't hear the last part.

Cyrus: "I learned how to play cards from Ace... The best player I've ever known..what kind of card game did you have in mind?"

He still stared at the tv.

"can you teach me?" Shilo asked. "I don't now any good games."

Cyrus shrugged.

Cyrus: "We can play Gofish.... I'm not really creative... Or. We could just play chess.. I like chess better."

"ok... Let's play chess." Shilo said.

Cyrus nodded. He set up a chess board and put up the pieces. He chose the black ones.

Cyrus: "You know how to play, right?"

"kinda." She said.
