Creo exchanged glances with Jupiter as he circled. There was no fear in his body, for there never ever was. He just wondered how Flare was. He hoped he wasn't worrying about him because he was going to be fine,he had fought other things before and wolves would be a cinch.

Flare sat behind Shiko worried as heck for his brother, He would be fine though, Creo was really tough.

Raven circled around the camp, nodding to Leaf Fall and Phantom as she passed them. The air felt tight with tension, and a wolf howled in the distance. Raven shuddered to herself as she continued her walk, praying that nothing would go wrong.

Copper happily sighed, "Well, it's good for us... for me at least. It might not be good for the others since we're focusing more on each other than all the other foxes but I don't really care..." he trailed off and gently rubbed his cheek against hers before sitting back up.

Soul ducked under the bushes that were to the side, his ears flattened and his eyes peering out at Ryuu who was on the other side. Just then, three wolves came through. Soul raced out yelping and swiped the muzzle of lead wolf before dodging out of the way and landing another blow at the wolves' paws. He would distract the wolves until Jupiter and Creo circled back to help them fight.

Ryuu saw the wolves leap out and he lunged for the second wolf, burying his teeth into his ear. He tore away taking a chunk of the wolf's ear with him. Blood spattered everywhere and the wolf howled in pain. It lunged at Ryuu, he ducked, but its claws scraped across his shoulder. He snarled and dodged under the wolf, kicking back with his feet to knock the wolf over.

Yuri's eyes widened in terror from where he crouched, waiting in the bush. His heart pounded and he was alert for any signal that would send him running back to camp.

Creo noticed the wolves lunge out and picked up his pace hoping to get behind them as quick as possible.

Phantom's eyes widened as it began. He had his heart pumpin' like someone's legs running. Phantom had his ears and eyes alert. He heard the growls far ahead of him.

Jupiter finished the circle and lunged at a young wolf, all hesitation vanishing, replaced by a fierce determination to protect her leash. This was what she was trained to do. She caught the wolf on the foreleg, breaking the bone. It howled in rage and she spat out its foul blood, barking and snarling. She did not wonder what was happening anywhere else but the battle field. She dodged a snap from the wolf and flew under its stomach, tearing at its soft underbelly. She sprang away again, but not quite fast enough. The wolf bit down in her scruff and shook her, then threw her to the ground. She got up, in pain, but not too bad and leapt onto the wolf's back, its horrible growling filling her acute ears.

Phantom hoped that no wolf would get in camp. But just at the very second, a large wolf barged into camp! He gasped, but grabbed all his power and lunged forward. While that, Phantom let out a call of warning to the other foxes in camp to let them know that one wold has gotten in. Phantom snapped at the wolf's shoulder as it yelped. The wolf shook itself and snarled, trying to get him off. The wolf clawed Phantom. Phantom fell on the ground, panting heavily. Bleeding cuts and claw marks were all over his body. The wolf pinned him down with it's paws. "Get offa me, wolfie!" Phantom blurted out and clawed the wolf right on his face.

Hope sat nervously in the den. Her ears perked as Phantom's warning was heard.

Leaf Fall and Jakei heard the snarls and flung themselves at the wolf, not sure how to attack, but letting instinct take over.

Ryuu continued to fight, the wolf was now on the ground whimpering, he wasn't trained to kill. He gave the wolf one last sharp bite just below the throat and shoved it away. It ran away, howling in pain and fear. Then he flung himself at the wolf, helping Soul with fighting it off. That wolf turned around, burying its teeth into Ryuu's foreleg. Ryuu was too used to pain and dug his own fangs into the wolf's shoulder. They stood there, biting down on each other, a battle of willpower and raw strength.

Shiko gasped as the wolf barged into camp, she quickly grabbed a sack of powder she had prepared. Making sure her aim was right, she lobbed it right at the wolf's eyes, the sack exploding in its face. The sack contained poisonous mushroom spores and strong pollen. The wolf howled in pain as its eyes burned red and teared up. "Hurry, get it while it's disabled!" Shiko yelled.
