I felt a small spark of rage and decided quickly that I wasn't going to let them take anything from her. "Is there a problem here?" I ask narrowing my eyes at them, trying to look somehow menacing.

Peter shrugged. "I dunno. You looked lonely. You could come trian with us," he said, eyes looking to Scarlett to see if she approved. Scarlett kind of smiled. "Sure," she said. "Sadly, trapping isnt my thing, so I should probably learn from you two."

Joy sat back at the edge of the training centre, feeling very tired. She had tried out the majority of the stations, and wanted to rest for five minutes before continuing with the training, where she would head over to the obstacle course. She ran a hand through her fringe. Well, hopefully she would be able to do that in a year's time. No matter how bright and happy she acted she knew and understood her situation. She was going to die. She couldn't stop that. But she could try and stay alive for long enough to get rid of the careers.
